    This car is definitely one that a driver needs time to get used to. Misha likely didn't get anything other than a basic introduction to where everything is in the car before gong out to do that lap, and you could see the difference throughout it as he slowly got used to it. I think the pause where he slowed due to the oil temp warning gave him time to let everything so far sink in, as he was notably smoother afterwards. I got the impression that the co-pilot was curious to see how Misha would adapt to such an unfamiliar and unforgiving car. It was definitely built and developed by a more old school driver that loves that raw visceral experience when driving, where you need to be "in tune" with the car to really get the most out of it.

    They way he took his glasses at 8:00 is funny. But the car is a handful by the looks of it. The emotion of the rb and blow off valve is an epic one. Sequential gearboxes are really shit to drive. Most of the time you see them still use the clutch and heal and toe on downshifting. Otherwise they lock up like this in the video.

    120 oil temp is nothing, 140c is where I used to have mine set at on my 34GTR (500awkw) It was my coolant that needed the most attention. RB's especially with twin turbos don't like to get the exhaust out very easily and I suspect this could be going on here. That was a big MAP pressure for the power it looked to be pumping out. Drive pressure issues are a serious thing to consider in a turbo track car, is crucial to get this right.

    Co-driver looks like he's been dead for a few years but doesn't know it. Car seems to have the wrong tyres, or they need more temperature. Downshift seems to block the rear-wheels everytime. Could become a great car, but it needs a lot of work and finetuning.

    Yes the car looks rough to drive, I wonder if some of it is down to Misha being soo use modern cars with abs and tc. Some guys like the rear bias to rotate into corners easier but definitely needs some setup changes because that thing scary. On a positive note the drivetrain seems pretty tough.

  • @suprakillavr4
    @suprakillavr42 ай бұрын

    Just needs an engine tune. Not setup for a kicker (auto-blip), so blipping on downshifts would help settle it down a lot like in my H pattern dogbox and it has a giant hole in the tune so it kept cutting out or loading up when transitioning off and on throttle

    "If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything". The end of the video says it all. Personally, i've obviously not driven the car, but that didn't look fun. Not necessarily dangerous (the rear locking up was a setting, not a general flaw), but at times very understeery, downshifts look and sound awful etc. Wouldn't be for me, this car. I like "drama" in the car by added noise and the car "making me work for it", but there's a limit to that, and this one is way past that.

    The shifting sounds bad because mescha is not matching revs. Which is a must on a sequential gear box. He needs to learn heel n toe
