Tips. Mentaiko at 1:47 are eggs of codfish instead of salmon. The salmon's eggs are Ikura.

Another difference is ikura tastes good ;)
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Awesome stuff, dude

Thanks!👍
Looks good . I would've chose that one.
That bento Rice Ball looks a bit strange, but a nice idea. Great Kobini Quest video as always! :)

It was surprisingly better than I thought it might be ;)
Great vid. 😎👍 Love spam Musubi. Yes, that Onigiri does look a bit like a Musubi, which is basically a different style of Onigiri. We've made Musibi with those ingredients --- spam/eggs/rice/bbq sauce/nori. There are many combinations of Spam Flavors, ingredients, and seasonings that can be added in Musubi / Onigiri ---> such as avocado-bacon-egg&spam, salmon, tuna & mayo, spicy tuna & mayo, kombu, ume/plum, mantaiko, fried chicken, shrimp shrimp tempura, steamed shrimp. Garlic shrimp, kimchee, unagi, etc. There are a number of restaurants & cafes in Hawaii that make varieties of Musubi / Onigiri. One restaurant we like to visit is Musubi Cafe Iyasume on O'ahu, Hawaii.

Right! That's what I was thinking about... this had a good balance of ingredients👍
Sounds a good combo, might try to recreate this….
Looks like an interesting combo I would go for that over the fish one too nice find

I agree ---though there are people who would not ;)
The egg, tuna and ham combo sounds good--just not cold. Would definitely try it freshly made. Thanks for the video

Thanks for watching! It was better than I thought it might be👍
I guess I would try it even though I'm not sure about tuna with Spam, but I like Spam musubi.

I actually liked it more than the spam stuff I've had before...👍
My absolute favorite is the Family Mart Chicken sandwich you can self-make. Mouth is drooling just thinking about it.

A classic! One of my friends also likes to use pancakes for buns and do a sort of chicken n waffles thing👍
I really want to try one of those!!!
Packaging makes it look like Oscar the Grouch. Lol😂

It does have some fun packaging👍
This reminds me a lot of the Okinawa-style Spam Musubi that Family Mart had (don't know if they still sell it anymore). That was really filling & tasty.

I'm not sure if they do or not, but that is the one I was trying to describe ---somehow I liked this better though. Less greasy, maybe👍
That rice ball looked really good! I’d try it! Yummm! 😃😎

One of the better ones for sure👍
Very beautiful! Have a wonderful day!
I think you made the right choice! The fish roe doesn't sound appealing to me, but I'm sure many people like it.

People here love it so it is in way more things than it has a right to be...
Idk what it is about Red Bull. It tastes terrible, but it's very addictive. 😂

Yeah, they are not always great, but this one got my approval👍
Nice
Fish roe yeah I don't know but the pork spam is for sure a no-no for me. Tuna mayo is great.

They actually had a few others that were just one ingredient in the bigger size ---more like a regular onigiri... just bigger ;)
i thought that thing you were describing was baby food!

Haha, yeah, that would be child abuse ;)
👍
Spicy fishy?😂

@@CriticalEatsJapan No - a perfect description and seemingly very accurate. 🤣
Not for me, glad you enjoyed it.
Would it be better at room temperature
@CriticalEatsJapan

I think it could be good at any temperature as long as it's fresh👍
Reminds me of onigirazu with the multiple ingredients. I think I'd pass on that particular combo

I'm normally not a huge fan of the spam stuff but this turned out to be a pretty good combo👍
Very interesting the one you tried, but the one you didn’t buy sounded hideous

@@CriticalEatsJapan That is one I know of but have never played. My group either goes for a D&D or other classic RPG or we just play a lot of table top games. We have a collection of 532 table top games here..I used to own a gae store LOL

@Graywylfen Nice! Wait, 532?! Wow! Before Corona we used to have board gaming gatherings quite a bit but even among all of us we had no where near that amount. Though I still play D&D using Roll20 with people I used to play with in person. The campaign has been going on so long it is 4E ;)

@@CriticalEatsJapan I used to own a game store so my kids grew up gaming and they added to the family game room. BTW that is 532 plus any extensions or addons

@@Graywylfen Ah, I see ---that makes sense now! I personally only own about 10-15...
I let all the ads play even though now KZread forces the long ads with the option to skip which takes the same time 12 seconds as it does to sit through the same ads you can’t skip. So I hope you get .002¥ for that! As for the food itself I’ve had it! Not so bad but nothing beats homemade.

Haha, thanks so much! This was actually tastier than I thought it might be ---but yeah, the key is freshness and I've had some older onigiri before... :(
no fish paste, no roe and no seaweed! hard pass for me on all of them. It did look like a good potion of food though.
