Hello Paul and Aaron! It's great to see you two together again. Welcome back, Aaron! The new Chicken Tatsuta burger looks good. I never would have imagined Grilled Corn Shoyu Shaka Shaka fry seasoning, but I'm sure it was fun to try it. I hope you're all doing well!

Yeah, Aaron has been quite busy lately. Good to have him back!👍
The first thing I think of when I see Conan is Conan O'Brien. One of my favorite comedians! I would try that burger, but I really hope I can try that Shaka Shaka fry seasoning. You know how I think about those seasonings; some of those would do well here, so McDonald's should offer those in the US and Canada for once.
@CriticalEatsJapan

That's right! He even visited Japan a few years back to go to a town dedicated to Conan
The whole combo of items sounds pretty good: Tatsuta burger, corn shaka seasoning, and a melon with ice cream float. As usual, we'll never get anything this interesting in the U.S.
I always go for corn flavored snacks when I go to the asian market. It amazes me how accurately some of these snacks replicate the taste of fresh corn.

I just found some basic corn flavoured Doritos... well, lightly salted ---but was a little disappointed they weren't ranch or something exotic... ;)
Corn with soy sauce is definitely one of the better tasting options I heard of
@CriticalEatsJapan
Ай бұрын
Good point ---at least they are releasing a new flavour this time ;)
Tatsuya burger looks good, melon soda float wow 😮🤤
Every time I see your McDonalds episodes I wish that McDonalds in the US would try offering different items like this. All we get is the McRib once a year lol. Nice work as always Paul! I grew up in the Midwest so I think I would really enjoy the corn flavored Shaka Shaka seasoning!
@CriticalEatsJapan

Yeah, the corn seasoning was actually better than I thought it would be. We do miss out on the McRib here. Also the Shamrock shake... :(
I wish that McDonald's Canada would offer seasoning with their fries. Would definitely try.
Oh! Nice! 😃 Fry Seasoning Giveaway! Golden Week Special! 👏😊

Yes! Golden Week!👍
We grill corn quite often because we had grilled soy sauce corn in Japan for the first time years ago. Seems like it would be interesting on fries.
That sounds like a fantastic shaka shaka flavor! The tatsuta burger also sounds outstanding! I'm a fan of ginger chicken👍😊

It was quite good this time👍
My first thought was Conan O’Brien (talk show host) lol The fry seasoning sounds interesting, I can see how it could work - corn & potatoes.

Oh yeah, another Conan!👍
Fun video. Always enjoy when Aaron and his family joins you. Chicken burger sounds good and fry seasoning interesting.
A nice comment down below Video idea how would you rank all the Shaka Shaka seasonings you have had
@CriticalEatsJapan

I've had so many that might be tough ---though I do remember quite liking the original sour plum one without the shiso
Hey there guys! We grew up on cream corn. I know in Japan they make their corn sweet. I’m German and Irish. I’m so salt and vinagar. But love trying new things.

Corn was a surprising flavour, but it did work better than I first thought ;)
When they had the sweet corn UTZ chips here in the states I couldn't get enough I wish they were still around.

It was a surprising flavour, but it worked better than I thought it might ;)
I hope the shaka shaka fries make their way to Canada! They look great!
Very interesting flavors. Always enjoy the reviews of the McDonald’s in Japan.
I really wish they'd bring on the Shaka Shaka seasoning here, they seem to focus more on dipping sauces here in the US. The burger looks good, I'd definitely try it and I'd try that float too. Always good to see you guys!

@@CriticalEatsJapan No doubt. I have experimented with making my own a little bit.
I'd try both of them and Shaka, Shaka them fries all day long!
Everything you guys showed I would definitely try it!!
Corn sounds.. interesting. I’d definitely try it if they sold it here! The sandwich looks really good.

My thoughts exactly ;)
Fresh corn on the cob is amazing and if this is close it sounds like a winner. Never heard of the comic/anime character Detective Conan. Cute buns. I may make some the nice time I make buns for my hamburgers and chicken patties.
@CriticalEatsJapan

That would be cool if you could do that👍
Creamed corn Shaka Shaka fries seasoning sounds delicious 🤤 I like creamed corn, good McDonald's video. 👍

Thanks, it was an interesting flavour for sure
Being a farm boy from Wisconsin corn fries sound delicious.
I'd try the burger. The melon cream soda sounds really good, too
That sounds incredible, but hey I grew up on a farm. Corn and potato go good together.
The corn seasoning definitely sounds unique, I don't know what it is about Korea and Japan that just loves putting corn in things... Have you been to a burger place called ICON in Shibuya, just near Yoyogi station? Some of their menu looks... interesting?
@CriticalEatsJapan

Yeah, you're right, it shows up way more than it should. Haven't tried that burger place yet but it does look interesting ;)
I love corn flavored items 🌽

Yeah, it should be very popular! Though I wish it was a little more thematic
That Shaka Shaka seasoning sounds very interesting but then again all of them do. Another great video Paul. I just realized that both of your names put together is Aaron Paul as in the same name as the actor that played Jessie Pinkman on Breaking Bad. lol

Looks amazing and would love too try it in Canada!
Starting to see a mega corn theme in Japan 😂. The burger looked interesting and the bun was fun. I agree that the Big Mac would be better

I can't remember the last time I had a Big Mac... ;)
Kind of funny, but the commercial that preceded your video (here in Canada) was for McDs Small Combos.
@CriticalEatsJapan

Small Combos? Are they like sliders or soemthing?
That corn taste powder made me remember food stalls in summer festivals. And 8:13 rice patty was better than bread. Because it likes a bento. Just in my opinion.
@CriticalEatsJapan
Ай бұрын
I would have tried it if it was after 5, just for something different. But to be honest, I prefer the bun over the rice... ;)
i love conan! one of my favorite anime
Tatsu-time! Great video. Is corn and soy sauce a thing you guys typically eat over there? When you said corn I immediately thought of like corn chips or even Corn Pop cereal, it definitely sounds unique. Also, if I'm not mistaken, those are egg buns or brioche that are "braided" to give the lumpy look. Any bakery I go to the egg buns always look like that.
@CriticalEatsJapan
Ай бұрын
I think butter and soy sauce is a more common thing. Egg buns? You could be right for all I know ---I just assumed they were potato because they had that yellow look to them...
I would try it, It looks very good.
Fab review guys but that's the first time I haven't hoped to be picked for a shake shake give away 😂 Aaron's drink looked absolutely delish though! Wish we had those

Yum, we'd eat that chxn sandwich. It looks good.
I also think of Conan O'Brien first, then the barbarian. This sounds very tasty. The melon soda float would be most welcome right about now since it's a warm day here! 😋
Lol corn flavoured frys
Its been a while since I entered one of these, entering!
I really wish McDonald's in the USA would do stuff like this.
Interesting seasoning for fries. I'm not sure how I feel about that. 😁

awesome video! im always game to try out new stuff!

I would try that burger, looks pretty good.
McDonald's in the US really needs to look at Japan for inspiration instead of a bunch of "celebrities" (the meals are never innovative) that I've never heard of.
