    The Filet of Fish have definitely got smaller, but it good to see it looks the same size over there in Japan, you could easily eat two!

    Yes! I use the same malt vinegar for fish & chips. Have done the same version of McFish & chips. Another variation is with seasoned curly fries, or with sweet potato fries. Congratulations to the winners.😎👍

    Cute idea for the burger 🙂 I've been using a salt and vinegar spray I found that's given a great amount of vinegar but haven't seen it in any shops since. Shame 😢

    Interesting menu hack! I’ve heard of this but never tried it. The fish filet sandwich at least at McDonald’s in the US has never been something I’ve enjoyed. Might be fun to try it with the ebi-filet-o!

    I get it ---when I go to McD's I am thinking hamburger. I con't even remember the last time I had a filet o fish. I had a coworker years ago who also managed a McD's and would show up with random burgers for us all the time, so that's probably the last time I ever had one... ;)

    Nice! I can't remember why I bought that one ---but I got it at an import shop a long time ago. Last time I made hot sauce I actually used it because I couldn't find the normal white vinegar... ;)

    Personally, I really like the fish sandwich stuffed with the fries. What drives me crazy--and I noticed this on your sandwich--is that the filet is never centered on the bun and can't be readjusted because the cheese acts like a glue. I might have to try the malt vinegar. Thanks for the video.

    I have never tried a filet o fish sandwich from McDonalds. I will definitely try it out after watching this. I love malt vinegar and salt on Chip Box fries

    Nice hack ( you have to have vinegar on your chips 👍)... You should take some cinnamon sugar with you next time and as to your fries with a little maple syrup dipping sauce lol. I hack I invented and still eat every do often lol call donut or breakfast fries lol

    I haven't tried this hack yet, but it is something that I will probably try at some point! I did do a Chicken Big Mac UK hack and had some extra buns left over and made a Chip Butty.

    Yep the filet-o-fish has been shrinking for years now, and the price has been increasing at the same time. They cost about as much as a house downpayment in Australia now. When they're fresh though with that tartare sauce they're still amazing.

    McDonald’s Filet o Fish is really good, but the best Fish sandwich at a Hamburger restaurant is the King Fish at Quick (Belgian chain, that’s also in France)

    In the US, the MCD's fillet O fish is very expensive. I'ts almost $5.00 for just the sandwich, plus, it shrank-much smaller now.

    Yeah, our yen is pretty weak now, but we haven't been hit with quite as much inflation like other countries have... ;)

    Yum, malt vinegar. Haven't had that in quite awhile. Going on my next grocery list. That was a good idea adding the fries to the fish sandwich. Going to make a homemade version. The last time I had a filet o fish, was really disappointed, hardly any tartar sauce and 🎉 the price has really gone over my budget. Congratulations winners! 😃

    I'll never understand why they only use half a slice of cheese. Haha I love malt vinegar with traditional fish and chips, but I never thought to put it on the filet-o-fish.

    Today I ate ume nori shio flavor shakashaka potato and nori shio teritama burger. Ume nori shio powder wasn't so bad. It likes suppa mucho.

    My favorite sandwich at McDonalds is the filet o fish with x tra tartar for the fries, but this video seems to confirm my theory that the sandwich has indeed gotten smaller!

    I legitimately thought this was an official release because… Japan! But great to see your self-made McFish & Chips review! A fun burger that almost anyone can make as the Filet-O-Fish is available everywhere I believe? Have you thought of making a McSeafood Special? (Ebi patty atop a Filet-O-Fish).

    I know it must sound un-Canadian of me but hate vinegar on my fries and don’t like salt & vinegar chips. To each their own, lolol Have you tried. Filet-o-fish BLT? It tastes really good! 😊😎

    wow you got ripped off with that lil slice of cheese on that thing.....this is perfect timing because I am making fish n chips for sunday dinner lol Not a big fan of McDs fillet o fish but next time I do ill give this a go......the malt vinegar saves the day heh :) EDIT: I love canadian McDs because they all have white vinegar lol

    Wow, you have fish burgers in Japanese McDonald! In Poland they removed this sandwich and instead added chicken mccrispy. This is a crime, fish burger in McDonald was my favorite childhood food

    Poor Poland. But japanese McDs already doesn't sell chicken mccrispy. They renewed it as mcchicken months ago. I miss mustard sauce in chicken crispy. Mcchicken uses lemon mayonnaise sauce.

    @@masayama1618 I do not know how was chicken crispy burger, but in Poland the chicken meat in it is pretty greasy outside and dry and grainy (for lack of better word) in texture. Thus, I would rather prefer if they would cancel chicken burger in Poland and bring back the fish burger.

    @@maciejjablonski9982 The chicken in crispy chicken burger was proceed meat. It likes a little big and thin chicken nuggets. Outside was crispy. Not so greasy. Mustard sauce was my favorite. I have not eaten fish burger in McDs for a long time. Sometimes I eat fish burgers in other burger restaurants though. I might buy it due to this video.

    to me tartar sauce should be pickley and tangy, it breaks the fattiness of deep fried seafood like calamari. japan's version sounds more like a hollandaise sauce lol

    Yeah. Japanese are not crazy about pickles ---the type of sauce they tend to use here is mostly meant for chicken or as a mayo substitute
