In the Netherlands it works better with two separate cheeseburgers than with a double cheeseburger. Two cheeseburgers bought with a discount through the app is cheaper than a double cheeseburger. And with the remaining bun you can build a nugget burger with the ones that are left.

  • @CriticalEatsJapan

Yeah, if you know some tricks to bring the price down definitely use them! We might have got a little discount at a different time of day, but we just had to shoot this when we did. And yeah, I guess you could build a nugget burger. I think they sell them in packs of 4 in the US, so they probably put them all on at once whereas we just used 3. Not sure if there is a size difference or not but it seemed to work well enough...👍

I did try this in the States. I liked it! A similar, though not officially endorsed one, I’ve done is to put a whole McChicken (buns included) between the patties of a McDouble. Though where I read about that one gave it a kinda not family friendly name. lol

Shoot, I'm trying to remember if I tried out the Crunch Double when that was going on here in the States. The other two lunch/dinner ones seemed like a bit too much. The breakfast hack of adding a hash brown to the sandwich is a classic, though. That's the way to go at breakfast time. 🤤

Hi guys yes we do this often and have done it on and off for a long time. I don't use the barbecue sauce here in the UK tho because I'm not a fan of that flav. I don't know about you guys but I enjoy the crunch of the bugs. They don't actually have much flav do they but I like with the cheeseburger. 😊
