Finally a non-touristy place! Please showcase more of these off-the-beaten track places in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. They are so interesting.

I love visiting those places in Tokyo that are relatively not popular, it’s quiet and peaceful, can enjoy slow walking😊
How interesting to see less popular local Tokyo city where peaceful residential parts and vivid places around the stations coexist so well. No wonder, almost no tourists, but Tokyo is the largest city in the World and to explore less popular places requres more time than usually available. Thanks to you Rion we have got an idea what it is like. I am so glad you might have enjoyed a lot of yummy street food. Well done again. Till next time: GAAOO.....

Hi Rion - my wife and I have been watching your VLOGS for a long time - we will be in Tokyo on Sunday and would really like to GAOOO you - where do you think you will be and hopefully we can bump into you?
Thank you so much for going to less touristy places.
I personally love traveling to local, less touristy places and longing for trying local treats. That’s the spirit of exploration.
Nice to see less touristy areas of Tokyo. Thanks for the video Rion. 🦁
We’ve been waiting for such a video ! Since we have been to Japan several times, it’s nice to see less touristy areas ! The best time we had there is when we got lost in a local town :)
It's always a great experience to explore the beauty of the less touristy spots in Japan. The duck sound in the background is so cute while you're eating that yummy melon pan!😊
Hi Rion!!! Thank you so much for going to a local area of Tokyo!!! I've never been to Togoshi Ginza and watching you and that Dango 🍡 you ate, makes me want to go cuz that's my favorite too ❤ Also thank you for explaining that nearest train station cuz at first, I thought I have to walk for 30 minutes but then you said there's a train station close by so that's good! 😅 Please please please continue to go to local areas of Tokyo! It would probably help local businesses, too ❤ As always, arigatoo
Rion I stayed out at the Togoshi area for a week in 2018. The Shotengai is really long with lots to see and eat 😁 I enjoyed exploring the area even though it wasn't exactly convenient to launch from to reach central Tokyo. I loved the railway crossing through the Shotengai 🚇 Saying that, it's really worthwhile staying in these local areas to get a wider perspective of Tokyo. Thanks for walking this outer Tokyo area, maybe you could showcase the Sugamo/Otsuka area for the viewers and feature Jizo Dori and the Arakawa Toden line. Gaooooo and let's keep eating, learning, and walking together 🙏☝️👑 🦁 Love your clean pleasant respectful considerate content, a lot of so called "top KZreads" could learn a lesson from you 👍
I was in Tokyo station today looking for you!!!! 😂 I’m here in Japan for two more days so I hope to run into you soon!
This is what i missed from rion’s channel. The less tourist spots. Very nice
Thanks for this! Just exactly what I needed to see today!
I also enjoy seeing the lesser known areas in Tokyo that do not already have dozens of other videos. I personally love all the shotengai around Tokyo. I stayed near Oyama station when I was in Tokyo last year and I never got tired of exploring new shops or places to eat at Happy Road shotengai.
Really enjoyed the video of an area of Tokyo that is truly residential! Buttermilk is a type of fermented cows milk. It's really healthy as it has probiotics in it and it's also used as a marinade, smoothie sor for pancakes . Most buttermilk sold here in the US is low fat too!
That was fun! 🤩 Melon pan is delicious. 😋 There are a lot of different food options! The food looks meccha oishi! 😊
yes to less touristy places! ❤️ hope you begin featuring beautiful places outside of tokyo, osaka, and kyoto 🙏
Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for this Tokyo local town walk. I would enjoy seeing a series of local walks, especially a visit to Den-en-chofu. Let's keep walking!👍🚶🏻♂
Thank you Rion for showing us the less touristy area of Tokyo. I'm sure there are a lot of interesting streets to visit.
AGREE!!! The amount of snacks here is just unbeatable
Hi rion. I was there last march ,mostly local people. I love it.
Morning Rion love you so much ❤❤❤❤
Lovely video Rion! Hope you can explore more area around Tokyo that less tourist.
Nice neighborhood! I love seeing new places.
It was nice that you met a friendly 93 years old grandma on the street. I wonder she was also sanpo-ing like you or sitting inside a house? It is great if she can walk by herself, enjoy life. I have seen you talking to people, mostly strangers in your earlier videos before. How about to include one or two short exchanges in Japanese languages in your future videos? It will make viewers to understand more about living in Japan. Of cos, you must have their permission to be inside your videos. Arigato once again, Rion! I anticipate to see more videos from you. Seeno Gaooooo!
I loved this video so much. The menchi katsu looked soo delicious, same with the melon pan :D Thank you for showing us the area & stores! You always mention the price and new words to learn which I truly appreciate
@9:45 we went there last year we sat out the front on the bench was cheap and really good the owner guy was friendly too!!! We went there 4 years ago too it’s a nice place togosh!!!
4:14 Different music melody, classic version 🎵🎶😌👏👍! 8:25 Meccha Oishiii in every bowl 😋👏👍. 9:46 220JPY Oyster cutlet 😋👍, 12:05 So good, the store manager allowed Rion to take video 👏👍, 12:47 400JPY Hokkyoku Melon Pan 😋👍! 15:07 wow! there are many choices of dango flavors 😋, Rion had Mitarashi Dango meccha Oishiii 220JPY 😋! 17:03 The items sold in the recycle store look new, not bad😯👍! 22:07 270JPY Okonomiyaki Taiyaki meccha Oishiii 😋. Thank you so much Rion, let’s keep walking to Tokyo local town, Japanese meccha oishiii street foods in Togoshi Ginza Arcade🤝!
I love these videos of you going to the less touristy parts of Japan. Such a vibe! Definitely considering this place in future. ❤️
Loving it!!! Great video with great location to visit and less tourists. Let's keep walking....
Thank you for showing us less known parts of Tokyo, i really enjoyed it ! Let's keep exploring ☺🦁!
I have come across your channel and I'm glad I did! Your vlogs are really helpful especially in my case where I haven't been to Japan and I really need insights and information from people familiar with the place -- and how else can it be better than info coming from a local like you! :) thank you for the vlogs and keep them coming pls :)

Im loving your videos! It gives me more reason to love Japan. I like the walking style walk through. I feel like I'm walking in Japan virtually 😊 Hope to see more local places. Also I hope you can film some shops that sell t-shirts(Japanese writings) and other japanese merch. Keep making more japan videos, you're awesome Rion!!! Gaoooo!!!
Thank you for the video I'm definitely going to Togoshi Ginza. That's the kind of area I enjoy the most in Tokyo.
Ahhh such a chill vlog. Loving this area, especially that it's not crowded ☺️ gotta try that taiyaki. That was the highlight for me looks hella oishi!
I truly appreciate this video. Thank u Rion. Another place to explore when I visit Japan again. As others are suggesting kindly feature more places like this please. I was able to explore Kawagoe last March because of your video of that place. Let’s keep on walking😊😊
Thanks Rion! Was asking you to visit 戶越 last month and you did it! Arigato!
TY Rion, nice to know other part non tourist area
I really enjoyed the fact that you went somewhere new. Seeing that local arcade was super interesting!
I love this video very much! Yes, you should do more on the local town than touristy places. We love locla town food and it's atmosphere. Pen down this town for my autumn trip ;) Let's keep walking!
watching all your vlogs from the philippines😅
Hearing the traffic light song, all I can think of is "Sono me, dare no me?"
Fantastic video! Love the local town vibes. It would be cool to see a video on some close mountain towns like Hakone or the nearby Atami! Maybe a future video with some of the post towns on the Nakesendo trail? Love all the videos!
I will be in Japan on the 20 th August for my birthday. I'm certainly going to visit this street.
This slice-of-life walk through local areas was absolutely delightful ✨ Look at the gastronomical gems you found-oyster katsu vs. the common menchi katsu, North Pole melon pan vs. plain melon pan, mitarashi dango with red bean filling vs. dango with only mitarashi sauce, okonomiyaki taiyaki vs. taiyaki filled with something sweet, a vending machine’s butter milk vs. USJ’s butter beer 😋 Thank you for your hard work, and please keep eating more and more (have you lost weight? 🤔) Let’s keep walking!
Loving it! Gaooooooo
Thank you. Nextime I will visit this place
28:17 OH NO buttermilk is for cooking stuff lol, not a drink!
You made me want to visit Japan again 😊❤ Beautiful video!
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸 Food looks delicious. Nice video 🌷🌷
Thanks for the video. I worked in Gotanda for almost 5 years in the early 2000s. It’s changed quite a bit but still natsukashii!
Thank you for sharing this lovely place. It's close to the hotel we will be staying. Will definitely visit the shops. Hope to see you in Tokyo ❤

Thank you. How about a sleeper train? Also visit your brother the one that cuts hair. Gaaaoooo from Canada.
I originally planned to TogoshiGinza on my family touristy on early May, but cancel to visit there due to some planning issue. As per your video, it seems i have missed a good place ...
Please show us how to watch baseball game in japan… from buying ticketing and trying some food, i heard the food on the stadium is good
Place is dead, wow. Little do tourists know a gem like this.
In America, I tried that butter milk. Ma ma. I won't buy again. You should try this.

@@RionIshida Great!! Like your videos!!! How come you eat all the time and keep it so thin??😂
❤❤🇰🇪
This area looks not interested for me. Most of the restaurants and even the street food you can find at any other places in Tokyo. But yes I agree, it is good to see less tourists to enjoy a silent area in Tokyo.
Kamu membuatku tersenyum. Aura wajahmu sangat menyenangkan. Kamu sangat ramah dan selalu tersenyum Terima kasih sudah memberikan tayangan yg menyenangkan. Semoga sukses selalu bro
