I think my favorite videos are the ones with Shinichi's mother and sister. It was so lovely to see all of you traveling together, being a happy family, enjoying the interesting locations. Having your mother still able to enjoy traveling is such a blessing. 💞

Takayama that’s our town!!! Lol well its our last name 😊. We went there in summer of 2019 and joked around saying this our hotel and our resturant this is our town 😂. Shinichi & Satoshi you folks always make me hungry! Good seeing Niki and mom in your adventures! I remember the bridge, statues and the open market! The river with the koi i think. It looks cold at this time of the year! All the food looks soooo good! Wow you folks found so many things we didnt see! Wow we never went to Shirakawago, so cool! Thanks for the adventure ❤

This video was _so_ much fun, and deeply heartwarming. It was wonderful to see you all together enjoying the gorgeous sights, sounds, and flavors of Shirakawago and Takayama. Niki was beautful, as always. Your mother looked happy and well, and so relaxed and secure holding your arm, Shinichi.🥰 I'm also glad to see had a good appetite. Thanks for taking us along for such a happy, peaceful interlude. And, thanks to Satoshi for driving. Love to you all. ❤❤❤❤

I agree with all the lovely comments made about you both. One of my favorite things to do, is watch your videos. My husband and I often eat while we watch you two eat. If we don't, it's like going to the supermarket feeling hungry. One comes home with off the shopping list junk food. You both make everything you eat sound so delicious!

I was in Takayama and Matsumoto in September last year and I absolutely loved them! Takayama had a rescue cat cafe near the morning market with some very sweet people (and good coffee), and Matsumoto Castle has to be one of my favourite things in the world so far. I love seeing your mother and your sister adding another perspective to your travels.

Such a beautiful part of the world. I can highly recommend the sightseeing train from Nagoya to both Takayama and Matsumoto for your next trip - a great way to see the countryside. The train station is very close to the old part of Takayama and there are many ryokan and onsen to stay in and so many great restaurants. Matsumoto castle is great to photograph at nighttime with the reflections on the lake and the art gallery in Matsumoto has a fantastic collection of Yayoi Kusama works, (her hometown) and also a Hokusai museum. We didnt get to Shirikawago on our trip because of heavy rain, so it was lovely to see it vicariously with you - its certainly on my bucket list🥰

Good excellent food no doubt, but not all that in one day. Can ppl share a share a set meal? .. can one request ( or carry a knife) to cut food stuffs into managable bites in these restaurants? Just curious. I'm Puerto Rican and i was taught to , " chew slowly, cut that up , nobody gonna steal ur food" ??? Enjoyed the vlog otherwise 😊
