So proud of Nick! My son Noah had his first appointment at 5 years old. We requested they do a panoramic X ray where you stand and the machine does a 360 around your head. That x-ray only requires you to bite on a little bar instead of the uncomfortable bite wings with regular x rays. Highly recommend the panorama for autistic kids! Noah let the hygienist brush and floss his teeth. He really surprised us for his first time! We are going to keep up with cleanings every 6 months if Noah allows it.

Who is cutting onions? I'm so proud, I'm in tears. Way to go Nicky! Way to go John, Shannon, Johnny, Sam and Mrs. Harrison on all your hard work and dedication to making this office visit successful! I'm so elated ❣❣❣

I'm starting dental school here in a few weeks and I volunteered in undergrad with people who had IDD's (intelectual or developmental disorders) and make sure anyone who has an IDD can still go to the dentist and feel comfortable. It was awesome to see how well Nick did at the Dentist and how amazing and supportive the family is. That goes such a long way, keep it up!

Sam, the dentist whisperer!! 🤗 Nicholas you're flamazing buddy, awesome. Was praying for him from 4pm that he would be able to manage it. The barber & dentist have been 2 major things for Nick & look, he's doing them now. Incredible, well done all of you for all the hard work & patience 👏🏻👍🏻 it def paid off. Stars are the limit for this kid 💞

Lol Nik vlogging. That’s adorable. Great job with the dentist. My son wouldn’t let anyone near his mouth for a long time. He is 13 now and thankfully dentist isn’t an issue anymore

I'm gonna tell you when he walked towards that Room and ran away crying, I was crying with him. The fear and his anxiety And you can tell he was trying to fight through it and he just couldn't, But he sure pulled through at the end. He did amazing, And that dentist is incredible. What dentists do we ever know, That doesn't say something about teeth cleaning and all this other stuff. Great job Nicky. And great job to that dentist. That was so sweet and Nice of Mrs. Harrison to come for him.

I honestly have no words! Speechless! He really does amaze me at every turn, I just can’t express how proud I am of that sweet boy!🥰 Sam bless him even teared up. I just love Nicky and your family to the point where it angers me that It’s not easier for me to come and visit now😅 Sending love and hugs always!🧡

I should put those clips together and make a short movie of all the prep that went into his success.

Not gonna lie, when you walked out with the victory I was in tears. Nicky owned this! I was terriefied about today. When I woke up this morning the first thing I thought of was this video and was scared that the outcome was going to be much different. This is amazing and a testament to just how strong team NickJames is. You guys all rock!!!!

You guys put in a LOT of work but I’m happy for you all! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Some of us have had to resort to sedation but only because of outside pressure (even professionals can live in their fears) and actual dental surgery. You’ve shown that while it does take a lot of work, routine visits to the dentist are attainable and can be prepared for as if enduring a hair cut.
