Is it just me or is there a massive Aussie love thing going on at the moment? I'm Australian so I'm all for it but I swear in the last few months people are checking out Aus left right and centre lol

If you have difficulty understanding some of the lyrics, don't be concerned as even us Aussies often requested sub-titles so we could understand James Reyne's diction.

Aussie Crawl had some great songs. "Boys light up", "Oh no, not you again" And "Errol". James Rayne, the lead singer went on to have a solo career. Love it, thanks Dei and thanks Wolf Hunterz.

James Rayne invented his own language/accent with Aussie Crawl. Takes me back to seeing them live in a pub in Frankston, Melbourne, Australia.

This is a great song to turn up loud while driving. A lot of the lyrics are about Sydney (as the Manly Ferry makes its way to Circular Quay) and Australian history. This was one of their last songs before the guitarist died of pneumonia.

Love all your reactions guys, but as an Aussie, obviously I'm loving this Australian bender you are on lately. Big shout out to Dei for making a lot of it happen.

This so Australian. Sitting at dusk, in the humid heat, with a cold drink, watching the sun set and listening to this...to chill and cool and relaxing after a hard day at work...hmmmmmmmm

I think it's because Australia has been considered as colonial. People are starting to realise (20 years too late) the amazing talent this country has to offer

Its a song about drug addiction. The gun is the needle. Catching the Manly ferry to Kings Cross to score as others are going to work. The early morning wrestle is fighting the addiction each day. Scott was an Antarctic explorer who lead a fatal expedition. Burke and Wills were Australian explorers who perished in the outback after missing a rescue party by mere hours. The point being they are beyond help.

Australian Crawl is probably one of the best bands to have come out of Australia

I think you’d love the singer James Reyne’s first solo song - “Fall of Rome”

This is one of those songs that it's played full volume or not at all! Oh and another Aussie classic you really NEED to watch is Great Southern Land by Icehouse, it's epic Aussie!

This is definitely a chill song; evocative too. It instantly takes me back to the 80’s when it is was on the airwaves constantly. It’s also a great song for a Sunday afternoon session at the pub beer garden…sitting back with a cool drinks and listening to some tunes with friends.

When they played this at the clubs all the couples would slow dance together. A beautiful moment.
