The sounds of my childhood. "As the Manly Ferry cuts its way to Circular Quay" - Iconic lyrics and song for those of us who grew up in that time and place. Thanks for reacting to so much of our older Aussie music! :)

And the Manly Ferries ⛴️ are a fantastic way to get around Sydney....loved doing that in 2016 when we took the kids their for a holiday 😀 How can you beat the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge from the water 🎉🎉 The song is a great one with the guitar solo in the middle, just makes it for me.

This is my favourite song from this band. I think it was played a lot on the radio as a kid but after you heard it 10 to 20 times you cannot help but love hearing it for the rest of your life. One of those tracks that just grows and grows on you slowly over the years.

Thanks Greg. Oz Crawl is always enjoyable. This was a massive hit in Australia, getting to number 1. If you like an acoustic version, you should check out Paul Kelly singing an acoustic cover of this song. James Reyne also does it acoustically as a solo performer. Both are good.

Don’t apologise for being an audio quality snob! That shit can make or break your listening experience!

First time I heard this song was at 3am while listening to Triple M (Sydney radio station) whilst putting up with insomnia. I used to call the after midnight hours the ''bleak'' time, because Triple M would play the more sombre or moody Aussie music of that time (Men At Work's ''Overkill'' was the most uplifting song during those hours). It was 1983, ''Reckless had just been released and I felt a little unsettled by it. I kept pushing away the idea that it was Australian Crawl, because even though I recognised the voice as being James Reyne, I couldn't place the music as being by Australian Crawl. When I found out it was Oz Crawl, I was quite impressed!

Oh, that's crazy. "The Bleak Time" would probably be the worst time for me to listen to somber songs.

@@deepcutsreactions7774 I liked the ''bleak hours'' of 12am to 6am. All the dark deep cuts of Australian music would come out to play. Sad and slow Cold Chisel songs, and weird synthy songs by INXS and Icehouse. Our bands were modern, but still rooted in the pubs and the streets. Check out Divinyls ''Elsie'' (live). That's another bleak tune.

I remember seeing them for the first time at the Moruya speedway in 1983 down the south coast of New South Wales. I was probably about 13 years old and the first time I smelt pot not knowing what the hell it was. We could buy tickets down the road at the surf shop at Broulee called Mad Gear for $10. The support band were The Radiators, so this brings back some great memories from my Christmas school holidays Deep Cuts, so thanks.

Not a dick just being truthful and it why it reaction site You don't have to always like the stuff just your opinion If others get offended by that then they shouldn't be watching reaction sites Instead go to the artist site and listern to the music by themselves So never worry about saying what you feel There's always so one not goingbto be happy with any reactions You have ny respect for honesty Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

I played an Elvis song once upon a time. It was a live gig and I just didn't think it was a great performance. You would have thought I killed somebodies kitten considering the mail I got.
