I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets The Last Unicorn vibes from Twinkle Journey! I've already got the older JSK release in pink, and I bought the open front longer JSK in sax this time. this dress was literally my dream dress and I got lucky as hell to find it unworn-tags-still-on-secondhand for a great price and then a year later have the rerelease drop. 🥰 it's the only sweet I own as I lean more towards classic and guro styles. I've found an awesome way to coord the pink as bittersweet.

They can take away my frills and the tea party meetup this weekend from my cold dead hands. I did my part in the stabby stab! LET ME IN.

It's really about using your own common sense here, if its not legal then absolutely no. If your own health is at risk because you have preexisting conditions like being immunocompromised then you need to consider if going is the correct choice for you, same goes for if someone in your home has a serious health condition. Finally your vaccination status is important as it protects your friends as well as you. You have the autonomy to decide if you want it or not but be understanding that your friends may not feel comfortable with you at a meet up if they feel its not safe for you or them because you haven't had a vaccine.

I’m broken because that Metamorphose dress looks SO CUTE!!!!!!!

Oh my god! Oh my god! That light blue frilly Twinkle Journey! That is such a gorgeous dress! I don't wear lolita, I wear a lot of kawaii/fairy kei fashion, but I love the lolita fashion and aesthetic. But that Twinkle Journey is pushing me over the edge to buy it, and a whole coord to wear. The whole 9 yards. For an outfit that's way, way more extra than anything I would ever normally wear. I just need that fracking outfit so much.

I'm not fluent in English but with this girl I learn a lot of new words each week.

RIP to all the people who have to wear petticoats instead of hoops this summer. At least you won't look like an accordion 😔

That Meta print in black and white reminds me of the camouflage stuff they put on car prototypes so folks who see/photograph it have a hard time to make out the shape and brand (google "development mule car" to see some examples). It kind of works the same way too when you look at photos of the back of the dress and try to trace the outline of the bow with your eyes 😅 Wouldn't turn down the navy version though, it's cute as heck!

Maybe they could make relly cute matching brand lolita masks. Just saying that if people need to be extra careful because they are immunocompromised even after immunization they could enjoy some events or parts of them.

If people are seriously immunocompromised they need to stay inside. A mask isn't some magical force field that can prevent every single infection or virus. Some people are even reporting some new strains are being attracted to people who have had the jab first.

@@princessadrigirl6774 exactly. Thank you for understanding that people with chronic health issues still want to enjoy life even if we can't do absolutely everything. Vaccines aren't perfect, but they are definitely helping those of us who are immunocompromised even if we are less protected.

Local government decided to conduct vaccination based on the age criteria. Most lolitas are 20-30 years old, we can expect to be vaccinated by October... But, it doesn't protect from Indian virus variation, so I don't know if we will have Halloween meets even allowed by then 😭

I’ve seen videos of people with extreme needle phobias get the jab and even an immunocompromised person who was given the go ahead by their doctor (they ended up having notable side effects but are now fine). There is no excuse for people not to get it if they are able to. The fact some people made this political is insane to me. Again, just to reiterate, the immonucompromised person I saw is a very specific case, I don’t expect everyone to follow their example, especially if it dangerous. Please stay safe and do your part to help others be safe too.

I am a person with severe needle phobia and I did get my vaccine (1st dose so far, second one soon). I informed the doctor of my phobia and everyone were super nice, the jab itself was so fast I barely registered it (because I was looking away). There is nothing to fear :)
