In a weird way, Cameraman is totally right that this is kind of minimalist in a way, compared to a lot of prints. Very pretty, and I love the lace. 🍓 Nice KotH reference near the end, too 🤣

I'm a classic lolita, but I definitely would get this dress if it ever pops up on the second hand market!! I made this cute necklace out of a tiny, single serve strawberry jam jar from a tea party that I filled with resin and strawberry charms for another strawberry dress I have. It would be perfect for this! The top of the jar is gingham too!

I really like how the straps are made of the same printed fabric and the edges are finished with ribbon.

I kind of wonder if that "pink" lace was white once and someone in its long lifetime washed the dress too hot and the red bled a little onto it, to be honest. Still super cute even if it was not originally like that!

Tyler believe me it is not your eyes, mine are very bad since birth and it never looked like pink lace at all, I dug out my mooks and found some.

Loved the video, and the bonus bit of getting to see the new additions to the room. I really love how the dark woods work with all the lighter pink decorations, helps give them a nice contrast. I'd watch the hell out of a video on decorating on a budget. Happy to see you back again!

I generally prefer border prints in sweet, but Sweet Jam is gorgeous. Also, I've missed these videos. I still go back and watch the wardrobe tours, and I'm hoping there'll be another one (maybe next year since we're halfway through 2022?) but Frock Talk is exactly the kind of content I love. Especially for older dresses with terrible stock photos.

As always, I appreciate this series for the detail shots for older AP prints. Like Milky Chan the Fawn (and basically every other 2009 print) has horribly pixilated stock photos and like no re-releases 😭

"is it pink or white??" - me after washing my dark red taobao dress in the same load as my white cotton blouse

I think the print looks less busy for a bunch of reasons: the items themselves are less detailed (and bigger and more spread out), it doesn't have random elements so it's similar to a quilting print, and the print itself is more visually balanced and to scale. It's just overall easier to visually interpret.

I never knew the Lolita community was so full of drama

It feels like Tyler sort of has a weight lifted off of her since her last video. I've missed frock talk and I''m so happy to see it back! I've literally never seen this print before and I love it!

I miss you and cameraman teasing each other! Always made my day! Also I can see you pairing a pink blouse with Sweet Jam! Valentines coord if it’s a good idea for you.

Missed u tyler. That Sweet jam AP dress is beautiful. I LOVE to see polka-dots in the fashion specially in red. It's super perfect for a spring meet up outside. Classic but still could pull sweet. This would be so pretty with alot of strawberry cake jewelry. Even have u hair up with a red bow in ur hair would so give it 1950's look that but still super lolita.

I've been in a lavender/lilac mood myself, i love your coord. I genuinely enjoy hearing you & cameraman discuss the vibes of each dress - it reminds me of when i ask my brother about a jsk or something & he will launch into an insightful paragraph about the details of the lolita item, i'm always surprised how much he's retained & how much he understands it while still being outside of the fashion

Welcome back. As someone that went through/goes through the darkness you fought, I'm proud of you. I know how hard it is.

I am so thrilled you are back. I absolutely love your coordinate it is stunning. And if you like the idea, please please do a series on decorating. I love how you decorated this room. That tea set or tea sets are so pretty. Strawberry jam is actually really pretty. Lets be honest angelic pretty does not do any of their dresses justice at all. You are inspiring me to actually get out my sewing projects, I down spiraled into a no crafting/no artwork stint during lock downs and I am just now coming out of this since fall. So many are from Japanese lolita fashion mooks, quite a few patterns seem to be angelic pretty inspired or actual ones. I love putting in side zippers on shirring. I have no idea how i ended up here, your last most recent video popped up as a suggestion and i watched it. And I ended up watching a ton of your older videos. I love your sense of humor and sarcasm. And a lot of your advice even if it's got a lot of salt to it it also has a lot of empathy and kindness. I'm not even remotely lolita lol. I'm not even a very feminine woman I never wear make up, dresses or heels. But something about your personality has drawn me in. I'm so glad to see you doing better than your last video.

this is one of my favorite AP prints of all time, even though there's no way in heck it will ever fit me-- it sparked my love of berry prints in lolita (and my love of pink and red in coords!!)

Respectfully disagree, but full back shirring is WAY better than side zipper! It’s so much more accessible with sizing, has TWO pockets, and invisible zippers are practically impossible to zip up sometimes and are likely to break.

This dress is making me want to wear sweet when I’ve been collecting gothic and classic pieces for the last year 😂😭
