It's really interesting to see how the line "sister, thought I missed her" was handled in other languages, as it's hard to translate while keeping both the meaning as well as the taunting rhyme intact. The German version translated it quite brilliantly using a play on the word "Schwesterherz" (an affectionate way to call your sister, similarly to "darling sister"), turning it into "Schwesterschmerz" (lit. "sister pain"). I usually dislike dubs but they did a really great job with Arcane (on the same level as the rest of the show).

The French, Spanish, and Japanese gave me chills the French one really caught me off guard

For me it was the Hungarian dub. I got used to mediocre voice acting so this one suprised me. Vi and Jinx's voice is sooo good ( but we don't talk about Silco's voice. It doesn't exist ).

The French version looks way more scary in my opinion. Jinx sounds really crazy !

actually, it's interesting that you think this, because the dubbing director pushed really hard the voice actor to aways sound crazier like :" let it all go, BE crazy" and thanks to that, she made those kinds of performances that ( I think ) are really close to jinx personality

You can really hear the paranoia in Czech Jinx's voice. The Hungarian one also sounds pretty accurate to Ella Putrell (Jinx's English Arcane VA)'s portrayal!

Both the German dub and the Turkish dub for this scene were perfect, as someone who speaks both of those languages (For context I'm trilingual). The translations were spot on!

French it’s normal because for exemple she not say “child” but “gamine” it’s a synonym of child but it’s more familiar and for sister in French is soeur and she say sœurette

I've been whatching your videos showing the differents languages for every part of this show and german never fails to be THE BEST ONE Also I wanna say how in french Vi sounds so soft like she is really trying to calm her sister down, and hungarian is SO AMAZING, the crazy and broken way jinx sounds, just perfect

I understand English, Czech, Polish, Ukraine and Russian. (I'm fluent in English and Czech, but I can understand Polish, Russian and Ukraine a bit.) This is heartbreaking 😢😢😭😭

My favs are French and Polish! Also, I find it interesting how in Czech Jinx sounds sad rather than angry. While Japanese she sounds the most insane, for sure. Thank you so much for this video and for including Ukrainian as well~

They did an amazing work for every single language (except ukrainian). I never heard such perfect voices, and for such many different languages. Riot really took the time and the money for this.

The Ukrainian dubbing is not official. I don't know why, but Netflix didn't do dubbing in Ukrainian.

All versions are good, but I really like how in Czech Powder speaks very lost and with a stutter, as if she doubts her words. And oh my god, the French version is just MAGICAL. Vi’s voice caresses the ear, so soft and soothing, she is really scared to death of losing her sister again. And Jinx's galloping voice perfectly emphasizes her madness. Gorgeous. So I am not a native french speaker but I'm gonna try to translate the french dialogue to english, hopefully I'll understand all the lines! In french, excuse the lack of accents, the french keyboard is a nightmare that i do not want to deal with: Vi: Powder, ca va aller. Jinx: Arretes de m'appeler comme ca! C'est Jinx maintenaut, Powder est tombee dans un puits. Vi: Tu n'es pas Jinx, j'aurais jamais de... Jinx: Arretes de me parler comme je suis un gamin! C'est pour ca que tu m'as trouve? Ese, el del video, no es el doblaje de España, es el de latinoamérica. La persona que hizo el video lleva cometiendo el mismo error en todos sus videos poniendo la bandera española, pero en ved de poner el doblaje castellano está poniendo el latino, que no es el de España. Así solo crea confusión y desinformación al respecto, sobre todo cuando las dos actrices españolas, Adelaida Lopez y Istaxa Mengivar, han hecho un trabajazo de doblaje de Vi y Jinx para que ahora pongan uno erroneo.

As a turkish I really love turkish dub Vi's You're not a jinx I would never said that turned into a really natural Turkish. Vi is saying "Sen jinx değilsin Hay onu diyen ağzıma-" (because of jinx shouting It's hard to hear full sentence so it is something like that) an it means '' You're not a Jinx D@mn, F*ck my mouth for saying that" something like that (it's hard to translate rude turkish because we have a LOTS of creative bad words :)) and I think it suits vi. And after that jinx was shouting right? She is saying "Bana çocuk muamelesi yapma" it is same thing with "Bana çocukmuşum gibi davranma" (both means stop talking to me like I'm a child) but first one is true turkish

You put the flag of Spain in the intro and thats not the spanish castilian dub from Spain, its the latin spanish dub from latinoamerica. Just look for information before make a video please. The diference its important when it exists a diference. You are misinformed about the dubbing of these two nations and you are mixing and confusing them. Correct it please

It's not dubbing, it's lektor, one person saying all voice lines. It's cheaper alternative for poor countries, especially from the past iron curtain block. Poland was such poor country once.
