Eyewitness testimony is the most unreliable testimony...just maybe, the girl who was "punched" lied and told everyone he hit her to get the guys to attack the defendant... just like Mr. Cockfield who lied about the defendant looking for little girls and thus inciting a riot...None of the "victims" are innocent victims. The defendant had a right to be where he was, people forget that he was looking for a cell phone which could have cost $1,500, and most likely had personal and financial information. The defendant had a right to look for the cell phone and the groups of people had no right to tell him to leave. In addition, putting your hands on someone is considered assault. Not a single witness has a clean slate on this one. Never push someone into a corner as you never know if, when, & how they will react. I would be humiliated to have been a part of such a group much less to be the person (Mr. Cockfield) who incited the group as they are responsible for a young man's death (as is the young man himself). 15 to 20 people against 1 person... this was definitely overcharged... and the kids (if they were charged... it would have been as adults) all have blood on their hands.

So, no one went to help Maddy after the alleged "punch or slap" because it didn't happen.

At the end of the day i have to agree with the jurys guilty decision, he could have handled it any other way than confrontation, he couldve ran in any direction, he didnt say a word to any of them, didnt warn he had a knife, walked away afterwards. Didnt say anything to his group about what happened, ditched the knife and lied to investigators, open and shut case really.

No 25 is not a child. She was 23 when it happened… and still not a child. She as well as three others who came to the aid of the actual minors who were calling for help as they told the stranger who was following them and putting hands all on their legs were all adults and as they admit on stand.. impaired. The charges were filed because regardless of any verbal exchanges going on, that adult man is on video standing on his feet before approaching, groping and causing a group of minors on their butts in tubes to call out for help, stop and rise to their feet. What the young adults did after that is on them to live with… no kid involved even touched him. Isaac was the last stabbed and he can’t take that stand to testify that maybe he saw that knife and put his hands up as he did in order to protect himself now can he! He had just turned 17. He was a kid.

She hit him in the face w her phone while simultaneously being pushed by friends of hers he reached to move her hand away from his face while falling backwards he reached w his other hand which had the knife to catch himself from falling which indicates the downward slash in her side. What country are you from mister look below what the definition of HUMANITY Humanity is a cumulative term used for all human beings, showing sympathy, empathy, love and treating others with respect. The term humanity is used to describe the act of kindness and compassion towards others. It is one of the unique things that differentiates us from animals. It is a value that binds all of us. So tell me did these kids use humanity towards the man because I too saw the videos all graphic ones included Where in the videos did we lose that humanity that ultimately resulted in the death of an individual caused by these kids actions that led to the circumstances that maybe sure he could have walked away however, I make choices the minute I walk out the door and in order to stay alive don't go around and immediately insult people who didn't show threat to you or others and if your going to get involve gathered your facts first before you make decisions for being the tough white girl and get sliced. It is also important to know that no one knows what was going to occur but have you ever found yourself in a situation surrounded by people screaming and insulting and than begins to assault you in your personal space. These so called victims are now sobbing and crying because the lawyer is clearly picking through their testimony and pointing out every detailed by underlying their actions, intent, lies and bad behaviors may have resulted in their friend death, They are showing guilt for what they have caused and are now learning hopefully the bad choices they have all done/
