I think this is her most masterful performance. She has such an extensive palette of vocal chops that she can use at the drop of a hat plus that emotional genius to know how to sing the emotion and capture the listener. I agree whole heartedly whit your opinion about this performance. This is the best cover she's done thus far in my opinion. She really gets to show of her vast tool kit in this song. No resemblance to either Adele or Amy. Angelina is much more of an old school jazz singer.

I felt exactly the same way when I first heard this performance, and the second, and the third, and so on.. 😍

Angelina is channeling Ella Fitzgerald and she also has a Nat King Cole quality to her enunciation, she is definitely a throwback to the ‘50’s, no one sings like this anymore, which makes her unique.

Great reaction. This is an incredible rendition of this song. This was my favorite until her Suspicious Minds rendition. Having said this, it seems every new song she sings tend to be my new favorite. Unbelievable isn’t it!

This seems to be Angelina's sweet spot - the genre, timeline, range, and lyrics of this classic song all perfectly set her up to deliver incredible musicality and the deep emotional impact she is sooooo capable of. "When she puts her own spin on these notes, it's like the best thing ever!" It sure is, Adrianna! Once again, I loved your reaction and your enthusiasm for Angelina's vocals. This 1937 show tune has been covered hundreds of times, and one (the Gerry Mulligan quartet version) was even inducted into the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry for the tune's "cultural, artistic and/or historical significance to American society and the nation’s audio legacy." I certainly haven't heard them all, but I've listened to many of them, and Angelina's (once again!) really reigns supreme as far as the vocals. The only improvement on this one that I can think of would be to see AJ singing the song. Angelina with a mic - that's all I really need to see. Her performance is nothing less than magnificent .. is there another word ? .. profoundly beautiful .. perfect, delicious .. oh my .. but you my dear, are insane .. and lovely too .. you remind me of me listening to this the very first time .. I cut it up and heard little tiny bits over and over and it took me forever to get through it cause I kept trying to start and not stop and I couldn't do it .. it wasn't just tears from my eyes either .. they (the tears) would come with a kind of wail .. or moan or maybe a wild animal in pain . I don't know .. but when alone I can't stop it. Finally .. when I hear .. something .. who knows what .. I focus on her hair .. or the way her arm did so and so on the couch .. just to hold the tears back a bit .. but when she gets to the high .. oh- exquisitely high "stay, little Valentine, stay .." well .. let's just say that phrase still gets me just writing it out or thinking about it .. it makes me float off somehow.. face soaking wet in spite of the fact that I've heard it oh so so many times! So thank you for responding with your full heart and soul. it helps me laugh a little about how insanely vulnerable I get when I hear her sing... so thanks. This is my 135th time listening to this MASTERPIECE and each time I experience a new level of perfection by our ethereal prodigy extraordinaire, Angelina Jordan. When you listen to the A cappella portions of this performance at the very end of the song you are truly experiencing the genius of Angelina Jordan’s PERFECT PITCH. Sinatra, rest in peace Angelina Jordan, the Bare Foot Queen has taken the crown and there is nothing like her in the universe. When I first heard her perform this, I put it on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 75 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.

Since becoming a Angelina angel, I have done my best to introduce Angelina to new people. On KZread, I began by enticing reaction channels to feature Angelina with good success and thank each reaction channel as they do introduce new people to the artist they feature. About a year ago, Angelina's team told us angels they believed reactions were hurting Angelina's analytics. There is some logic that if angels are watching reaction videos then they have less time to watch the original video. We enjoy reaction videos and don't want to hurt those channels so the solution was to suggest reactors encourage viewers to watch, like, share and comment on the original video. Thankfully hundreds of reaction channels have implemented our suggestions and we encourage they do so for each artist they feature.

Something very mysterious happens when we listen to Angelina sing for us. Our hearts are so open when we listen to her, every word, every note, emotionally affects to such a degree our heart dances with every sound her voice makes. By the end of any song, uninterrupted, we have been drawn completely into her world and perhaps unsaid, we thank her as if she was right next to us. To our dear reactors, obligated to pause or critique the song in progress, we understand and we enjoy your video's. Most of us have heard the video several times and the feeling we get never wears off and at the same time we smile watching and listening to our favorite reactors drawn into her web.
