I have never heard a female singer past or present that has Angelina's level of musical inteligence and genetic vocal gifts that combine to make every performance hypnotic and and full of surprises at the same time.

She is no longer a talent, she is the master!

For me, it is her rich, full voice and because it is a lower register that can convey a darker, serious, mysteriousness that makes you pay attention. It is a woman's voice not the high pitched 'girls' voice that is common in popular music. She is a voice lover's dream.

Angelina never over does the vocal gymnastics, she is the Goldie Locks of vocal gymnastics, never too little, never too much, but always just right. I know, it's remarkable. Recently, I was having a business meeting with someone and the topic of conversation became music. I brought up Angelina's name (he had never heard of her) and I suggested he put her on his phone so he could listen to her later on. He asked me who my favorite singer was. I hesitated and then blurted our, "Angelina Jordan," and I backed it up by saying everyone else I thought of comes up short! He told me his favorite singer of all time was Whitney Houston. At that moment I told him, "Okay, this conversation is going to another level. She also does Whitney Houston covers so settle down in your chair and get ready to hear Angelina sing 'I Have Nothing'." She changed the key to this song, but does it really matter as long as she has the ability to give each word, or phrase, meaning like no one else in this universe can. How can she evoke such emotion in each and every performance? Why do I get chills, or cry tears, or lose my breath when Angelina sing a song that I have experienced many times in the past without this happening? If this feeling only happened to me that would be ok, but it happens to billions of people. We play these videos of AJ over, and over again to get our high. I was a Whitney fan from the beginning of her career to her tragic end. Whitney was great, but Angelina at 16 is far better than Whitney ever was at making you feel each word, and phrase. AJ changes every cover to make if hers and far, far better than the original. AJ is the greatest STORYTELLING ARTEST I have ever experienced in my 75 years.

I was never a fan of pop diva singing and singers. I had never listened to this song clear through when Whitney made it popular. I got so sick of it because you couldn’t get away from it at the time. I had never heard it clear through, that is, until AJ sang it. I still don’t care for the song that much. It’s her voice. My God it’s so beautiful and so mesmerizing. You can’t not listen. She could sing the phone book and it would have the same impact. She is truly one of a kind.

I think very little is a god given talent, or even genetics. I think it is formative years, no one starts that young, no one gets that good in that short amount of time. But if you start that young, with the right kind of people around you and encouragement, maybe 10 years of professional experience at 16, in circumstances that and up just right those 10 years maybe mean a lot more than 10 years usually would. Her voice, her tone is all that can be confirmed a gift she received. IMO it is the only gift. The rest is an incredible girl and her village.

No, not 8, she is probably just 7 years old, about 8 or 9 months before she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent. She's a one-in-a-billion natural. By the way, she is almost 18 now, with a birthday on January 10th 2024. This was recorded in her after-school music program studio. Among 4 or 5 other recordings there, I think this is the best, and probably the last. The engineer, probably her music teacher, said it was very good for a first take.

I love watching new AJ admirers discover her. Your reactions are among the best. You might want to go back catch her early win of Norways Got talent, all three songs., special attention to one a cappella, but the first one was unbelievable. Of course so many of hers are. Such a rich list of exquisite artistry.

FOUR songs .. but who as counting? ME! Because they are all four brilliant in different ways. "Gloomy Sunday" .. clean and simple .. but also the sadness .. she gets it all without acting without pushing. SIMPLY .. she lets the song and the vocal reminder of Billie Holliday melt the listener .. (oh my!!) 😊 "I'm a Fool to Want You" .. She sings an impossibly complex song A Capella! SHE IS A DREAM. When listening to these a few years back, friends would say of the other competitors standing all around her that they must be thinking .. oh well .. we might as well get out of here! I think they are instead thinking .. what are these totally weird songs she is singing!? Hahaha! (Both of the first 2 songs are Billie Holiday songs.) "Bang! Bang!" She does wonders with simplicity and innocence here. STUNNING. (Written by Sonny Bono .. made famous by Nancy Sinatra.) AND THEN ... "Summertime" .. magnificently dreamy and loaded with nostalgia .. her her vibrato suddenly shows in a way that makes no sense for an 8 year old. WOAH!! GORGEOUS!! .. I can only imagine half the audience is not breathing so they don't miss a second of this gorgeous George Gershwin song from "Porgy and Bess". What do you mean English is not her first language?! PLEASE WATCH ALL FOUR .. and get the video with all four on it AND translations so you can u understand the judges.

Lady, you are right, it is God given. Her voice, as some vocal experts explained, is so rich, deep and wonderful, because her neck is a tiny bit longer than usual. Her whole body, she is about 186 cm tall, works as a resonator. The other gift is in her realy high IQ (confirmed), sometimes a real curse for the parents. BUT, as her dad works all over the world, little Angelina had to help raise her younger sister Juliette. She studies music and performing arts since age 4, since age 6 she also goes to school, composes her own songs, practices singing 36 hours a week since age 3. Aside from that she is a master seamstress. I think she still sewes most of her "Stage Clothes" herself. Because of her high IQ she finished school this year in June. I don´t know how much my co-com-menters told you. She speaks 5 languages fluently and 2 just a bit. She also plays piano and guitar, that I know, about the flute and violin, I am not sure. A perfectionist, but patient with the not so gifted. How respected she is, you can see in that a seasoned, experienced conductor of a famous military band, asked a 11 year old for advise, musicaly.
