Honestly, this is very true to Anakin's character. He's known for not taking orders and doing things his own way, so why would he now start taking orders from old man Palpatine.

Ok, but also Dooku quite literally cut one of his arms off last movie, along with injuring Obi wan, someone who partly raised him and trained him. And now having literally watched Dooku potentially kill/injury Obi wan like minute ago, he was fuming at Dooku so revenge was something he was very much considering, so wasnt really just taking orders from Palpatine, more of Palpatine fueling his worst impulses and Anakin being conflicted about with wanting revenge and knowing its not the Jedi way. So while Anakin not taking orders is very much true to his character, but so is being impulsive about his feelings and Palpatine was fueling and manipulating him for years to let those feelings control his actions, while the Jedi's were trying to tell/teach him not to let his feeling affect him, guess which is easier?

Order 65 was: the chancelor has betrayed the republic, kill them. It served 2 porpuse: 1)if someone discovered the mind control chips it wouldn't be obvious that they were made to kill the Jedi 2)if someone else was elected he could assasinated them

Gotta love that if anyone asked the droid how Anakin got the info out of him, they would find out dude was walked in and did it with very little to no hesitation

@@rejvaik00 False surrender is a war crime in any war, even without prior agreements, because it just means your own side can't surrender any more and has to flee or fight to the death every single time. If you act in bad faith after a surrender, the enemy can't trust your surrenders any more, and has no reason to accept them. It hurts your own side, more than it could possibly hurt the enemy. Even if it earns you a decisive victory that wins the entire war, your faction cannot be trusted if there's ever another war ever again.

It actually looked like dooku didnt mean to chop anakins arm off 😂 ive always thought that. Anakins arm was just stuck out and he had like 5 seconds to react to dooku swinging at it and he just didnt move😂 then dooku just sighs and has this look on his face like “welp. That just happened.”

So the last sith dies because of a terrible miscalculation on how gung ho the clones are.

It's been a long while, but I'm pretty sure they reference war crimes for very similar reasons as ours in Clone Wars? I found a reference to torturing prisoners on wookiepedia at least.

This is how it should have actually happened if it were not for plot and stuff

This didn't make sense to me in the movie. If Anakin spares Dooku, how they were they getting off the ship? They came in on two starfighters with room for 1 person each, they didn't even have enough room for Palpatine. They clearly expected to go back and get back into their fighters because R2D2 was left guarding the door. Was their plan to just carry Dooku with them, who can still very much use the force and get robot hands to replace his hands like Anakin did, and fly down on their starfighters? Don't forget, Obi Wan is still unconcscious at this time, so his plan would've been bring two elderly people and Obi Wan, one of which is a hostile prisoner in his own ship with a lot of his allies still there, back to their fighters, hope Obi Wan wakes up and then what? Anakin puts Palpatine on his lap, Obi Wan puts Dooku on his lap and then they fly down? What if Dooku attempts to fight back and escape? Killing Dooku made complete sense and was in line with how the Jedi acted. Jedi, on multiple occasions, mercilessly slaughtered people, they didn't stop once they stopped being threats. Mace Windu could have cut off Jango Fetts arms or something but he chose to decapitate him. Obi Wan kills Darth Maul when he could have also cut off his arm, and later he kills Grevious when he could've just hit him a few times in his chest to weaken and capture him.

Killing in the heat of battle is not the same as killing someone who is at your mercy. They were more like keepers of the peace and became more like soldiers however. Maul and Grievous were still standing and had their hands and were very much a threat. Dooku no longer was. Yes Dooku can use the force but he was clearly submitting.

I havet seen a Star Wars film for years but all these browsing around sessions has me.thinking alot and suppose this.... does anyone here agree with me that Darth Tyranus is such an interesting person?
