@@vaporjem Sorry to ruin the movie for you. But to placate most of its fans I do agree that it was a good movie until then. The problem is most get caught up in “awesome Vader Hallway scene” and don’t see the problem. To be honest the issue could literally be fixed with literally a short 2 min scene edit. You would only need a small set and 3 actors. The scene would be the plans being handed to the captain of the vessel and then after having their hyperdrive disabled from a shot from the Star Destroyer, *beaming* the plans aboard Leia’s ship near Tattooine. Edit: And an extra scene of the beam being tracked.

We can all agree that both Rogue One and Solo had the best LEGO set waves.

EVERY MOVIE IS SOMEONE’S FAVOURITE. There is no best Star Wars movie, there is most beloved, most appraised and most heartfelt. But there is no best movie because if there was, everyone would have it as their favourite. But every one’s favourite is any one of them.

Return of the Jedi is my favorite of the originals and The Phantom Menace is my favorite of the prequels. Come at me. I still love all the six movies, yeah I counted SIX, tho the spin-offs were good.

The only part in "The Rise of Skywalker" that felt fan servicey to me while also not serving the story was Chewbacca getting a medal.

There is no evidence in the film that suggests Palpatine shared how he cheated death to Kylo, let alone suggest why he would want to share such secrets with him (especially when Kylo was satisfied enough with his offer to use the Final Order to become greater than his grandfather Vader). There is also no evidence that suggests that Kylo discovered exactly how Palpatine cheated death and shared that information with his officers. What we do know is that shortly after his exploration of Exegol, Kylo confirmed to his officers that the voice in the galaxy-wide broadcast was indeed the real Palpatine and that he had been building a new fleet for years while he was in hiding on the Sith planet Exegol. This was the information the spy Hux passed along to Boolio, the information that was downloaded into R2-D2 before Poe decoded it (the later meeting with the First Order officers also confirms this, since they wanted to discuss this new information about the new fleet as well as Palpatine's intentions). Poe's line was all about confirming "the worst" the Resistance feared about the voice in the broadcast, that it indeed was the real Emperor; Hux's info was never about providing a perfect explanation to the Resistance about HOW Palpatine survived. This is evidenced by Rose's response, "Wait, do we believe this?" as well as another person saying, "It cannot be! The Emperor is dead!"; neither are arguing about HOW the Emperor survived, they are arguing about *if it was TRUE OR NOT.* Even the line said by Meriadoc Brandybuck "Dark science. Cloning. Secrets only the Sith knew" was speculation used as a counterpoint to support the notion that it could indeed be possible for the Emperor to be the real deal. Putting aside the story's context, how can Poe's line be considered "fan service" anyway? You could argue Palpatine in IX saying, *"The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural"* is a line of fan service, since it referenced "Revenge of the Sith" by using the exact same speech pattern by Palpatine in III, regardless of whether the context in IX gives it weight and meaning. But if that is the case, what exact line is "Somehow, Palpatine returned" referencing? Unless you can answer that question, "Somehow, Palpatine returned" *cannot be considered as fan service that does not serve the story.

Everyone really just views it as a cop out, resorting to literally digging him out of the grave to use an iconic character to win back the fans.

1:39 Actually it fucked that “perfect setup” connection to New Hope in the last 15 minutes of the film. Vader was cool but him Literally watching the Plans being *HANDED* off only to chase the plans down breaks continuity in the opening dialogue of New Hope. Edit: The dialogue between Vader and Leia.

Any star wars movie is better than the sequels

I love the seqeuls personally. To me The last jedi was amazing it made me cry and enjoy the film just like the force awakens did. It's a tie for me I feel like the last jedi and return of the jedi are the best star wars films and right behind them is rouge one. The force awakens help me get into star wars with Rey there are Elements in her life that felt similar to mine. Rey is basically my Luke skywalker, the sequels are what make me help love star wars and see the other films and I don't regret it. Majority of them I like and to here that Rey is returning is great.i can't wait to see her film when it comes put in 2025 or 2026

@QuatarTarandir im sure not sure when the break cannon of previous film and they copy legends at some point point like Han and Leia having a child, Luke feeling defeated after the ers of the empire because of lost they face, Palpatine clone. The only thing I say is maybe the Palpatine coming back (even then that has happened in legends) also the space jump into a fleet. But I view that as a suicide bomber thing that never happens unless your desperate and need to save others. But I consider cannon. Simple reason because the owner of them. Currently say they are. That ownder being disney. If they say "Han Solo fighting a gaint badger cover in jewels" is cannon than is cannons. Also that did happen in legends.

@@porg-fv8vi Like I said, most people just do not consider them canon no matter what Disney says, especially since they change the characters and undo pretty much every bit of development from the OG Trilogy, whereas Legends built off of it. And even though the Disney movies copy Legends, they somehow manage to just do everything worse, without fail. Even the resurrection of Palpatine, which most people thought was dumb in Legends, simply was done better in Legends. And breaking canon I do mean the space jump into a fleet. Per the rules of Hyperspace in Star Wars, you go into a different "dimension" when travelling, where you can go lightspeed. Meaning there is no way for it to work that way. Not to mention it would lead to that move being repeated so much that it would break the universe. There's also some smaller things that seem to break lore. Such as (of course) Rey using force powers with little training (force healing, sith lightning, etc.) and one of the ones most don't think about is that fact it makes force ghosts able to affect the real world. In the OG they were simply there to guide, not to interfere. But now they can? It just messes things up

Well done! I liked Solo better than Rogue One. Did not like all the setup for sequels, it was a fine story on its own. Attack of the Clones is one of the worst movies ever made. Rise of Skywalker was amazingly bland and mediocre. None of the prequels or sequels needed to happen. Spaceballs is 4th after the originals.

This is actually really simple: Episode V Rogue One Episode III Episode IV Episode VI Episode I Episode II Solo The sequel trilogy isn't canon, end of discussion.

I have no idea how any human being anywhere who exists or ever has existed or ever will exist or ever could potentially exist on the planet, throughout the universe, or in any hypothetical multiverse within 900 quadrillion years could ever possibly, in any capacity, think that the sequels are bad.

I’m not gunna lie: *my opinion* The first trilogy: alright. Good but unintentionally funny at times and slow. Prequel trilogy: better but still flawed. First two movies while easily having the best visuals in the series were very slow paced and kinda cringey, 3rd film is the best one from that trilogy. Sequel trilogy: pretty good honestly. First movie was pretty great, second was the best Star Wars movie in my opinion, due to great pacing and writing. 3rd is probably the weakest but still good. Rogue one: INSANELY BORING. EASILY the most boring in the series, can never reach the end before I doze off. Solo: alright. pretty great story and story telling, but is also slightly slow. Mandalorian: all seasons: peak Star Wars. Do I really need to explain? Boba fett: Star Wars’s cartoonish feel actually done right. Amazing action sequences characters and just a very fun atmosphere. Andor: u can’t get worse then this From terrible writing and atmosphere, this is easily one of single worst series I’ve seen to date. Ashoka: one of the worst dumpster fires I’ve ever witnessed. Sabine 💀☠️ Haven’t watched the cartoons or the acolyte…
