As someone who’s worked in the food service industry I quite often get to say “did you dry these in a rainforest?!” And it always makes me smile!

The idea of a cafeteria worker not knowing who Darth Vader is despite working on the death star is perhaps the funniest thing.

This never fails to make me laugh 😂 in my early 20s i met a mr stevens in work... he actually worked in engineering but I used to call him head of catering. He always seemed so offended! But what made it funnier was that he would respond with "im not head of catering!" Lmao! I'm just hoping he saw this eventually or else im pretty sure he thinks i was just picking on him lol 😂

I first saw the Lego one in the military and the person I was dating at the time, either one of us would start by saying "... a Death Star Canteen yeah?" and we'd speak the whole sketch. Some people actually thought we were having a coded conversation which neither of us confirmed or denied

Just bought some Arrabbiata sauce the other day and thought of this skit. Had no idea what it was before hand but right under Arrabbiata on the jar it just says spicy marinara. Can't wait to try it.

I've seen this dozens of times..... always has me laughing.

Just brilliant - I can't imagine anyone else doing this. Where does it come from? Well, from his mind I guess. The glorious interface of the fantastic world of Darth Vader and the ordinary down to earth prosaic world of the studio production canteen. The whole business about the tray is a flight of genius. I could never think of all that in a 1000 years.

I still think about this bit and many others years later. Fuck it, I'll get a tray 🤣
