@@twillabme Eddie changed to exclusively using female pronouns a couple of years ago, but I wouldn't expect everyone to know that, so "they" does sound like a safe option for someone unaware of that. She did used exclusively male pronouns for most of her life.

We don't need to. Izzard has been quite clear that she would prefer to be referred to as 'she', but doesn't mind if you refer to her as 'he'. It's hardly a surprise. Izzard has been wearing women's clothes and make up since the 1990s.

I would like to add to the headline. As someone who was taught the sundy school verion of god, watching the hollywood depiction of the exodus in my early teens created quite some confusion. I quizzed mum. She being the one insisting I attend sundy school stunned me by saying that (the movie) is basically how it went. A confused believer eventually became an unconfused unbeliever. I say my simple humanistic morality is far superior tho that POS that opposed Ramases. No coolective punishment of the population with no say in the matter. I would have just held Ramases nuts increasingly painfully until my chosen tribe was safe in the promised land. No drowning soldiers just follown orders on pain of death neither. That was it for me. My conculsion became, the whole bible thing is bullshit. A god who loves the little children wouldn't set ten plauges upon them. I am more moral that that imaginary god of collective punishment.

Yes, that is entirely the point.

the idea that the earth is flat is a modern invention. the sun and the moon are right there, thankfully on a daily basis for comparison. Jews in particular followed and follow a lunar calendar, so the phases of the moon would have been a handy hint that planets spin/turn. the Judean hills and mountainous cliffs of the dead sea would also have been clues, since the vistas and sunsets would routinely have been on a curve.

Whatever, she's only been using female pronouns for a couple if years, I'm sure she'll survive someone using male pronouns on a video back when she was presenting as male and using female pronouns hasn't stopped her from taking roles as male characters in movies. The DSM needs to have an entry for the disorder that causes people to be so obsessed with pronouns.

She only started using exclusively female pronouns a couple of years ago, and most people wouldn't be aware of that if they didn't happen to watch an interview where she mentioned it. She has used male pronouns for most of her life, even when she called herself a transvestite. People generally don't know the life history of every entertainer they watch on KZread. I don't even usually know the names of many of the comedians I watch on KZread, and she was presenting as male in this video.

Not sure Suzy/ Eddie gets so worked up about it. She seems to be rather kind to those who get pronouns wrong, or even her name…. Especially if a person didn’t do it out of malice or spite. Always loved not only her comedy, but her compassion and kindnesses. Amazing charity work, always standing up for the poor and most vulnerable…. Rather inspirational.

There's no such thing as "an agnostic." Agnostic about what? That you won't fart today? It's like saying you have "a red." A red what? Gnosticism is saying you absolutely know something is true. Agnosticism is just admitting you _don't_ know. You aren't making any claims about your belief of lack of belief. So, if you say you're "agnostic," what are you agnostic about? Yeah I find comedians that make fun of religions to be intolerant and a joke. He clearly is angry at Christianity. Passive anger is not funny

@@mattpowell6291 No subject should be of limit and any subject that tries to limit should be mocked. It's not hating Christianity or religion in general. It's hating the harm the lies do in the real world. Comedy is one of the best ways of opening the debate, people laugh at his jokes and religious jokes for a reason. It makes people say and do stupid things. Like you and your baseless assertions about Eddie.

This is the Ridiculous argument every idiot says against God. If God was real nothing bad would ever happen to anyone ever. FACT: more than one God -- the Supreme God is not the God of this earth. So who is? Sophia -- God of wisdom aka Mother Nature. Now think--- Mother Nature is the most power force on this earth, nature is the more beautiful than anything a human could make, and nature does everything than better and more efficient than man. Nature does not have merci, or love -- that is what humans have.

There seems to be an implicit assumption in your comment that humans are separate from nature. We didn’t come into nature, we came out of it. Whatever we do… that’s nature… or nature doing “us”.
