Am I A Crazy Fast Improvement Case? - Endmyopia 10 [Day 51]

!!!WARNING!!!: In this video, I was not doing the correct things to improve my eyes and was under the influence of blur adaptation, a condition where it's easy to think you're improving your eyes when you're not. I have since started doing the correct things and have made real consistent improvement in my eyes, but this video is not to be taken as an example of what to do. Please see my explainer video here where I tell you everything wrong with my older videos: • My Biggest Vision Impr... Let me know whether you'd rather see the log edited properly or not. If my rate of improvement keeps up it won't matter anyway because I'll be out of the process very soon (ᴗ ͜ʖ ᴗ)

0:29 - General vision update
0:47 - About my rate of reduction, considering whether I'm right or wrong in long term
2:51 - Two hypothesised ideas over why I'm improving so quickly
4:43 - Dull ramble about whether the videos should stay unedited or not, plans for the channel, talking to a camera about how most people don't care about someone talking to a camera (about their own experiences)

Ultimately, you confirm your results by using your own Snellen, and your own Test Lenses. That way, you do not "argue", with an OD. As always I support both you and Jake. I trust your refractive measurements and Snellen.

What up bro. I personally think you should try and equalise both eyes when you hit that -1.5. But this is great news tho. I'm gonna have my eye tests tommorow since it has been a year and in this year I have followed Jake's method. Cant wait to see what happens tommorow. I'm 16 btw

  • @NottNott

Hey man, glad to hear you're making those gains. I'm kind of 'endmyopia freestyling' at the moment and disregarding the concept of equalising as both of my eyes are improving at a good pace. I don't see the point in slowing down to equalise when both of my eyes are improving. Things could still change at a later time (maybe gains slow down) so we'll wait and see. Good luck for your eye test tomorrow :)

I know people make great claims. Getting out, is a very slow process. Very soon: Ger a bright Snellen, and check for 20/60. ( I will believe in your success when you do that.) In the final analysis, you must pass that line, both eyes open. Even Bates required it. Also, when you get there, plan to get some low cost test lenses. You have the intelligence - yes. But it will take about two years of resolve to do it.

If your eyes have naturally improved that fast than that's perfectly fine. As you've said you listen to your eyes and that's the most important thing. You might find you plateau after a bit but I wouldn't see a problem with that. It's not a one size fits all anyway.
