    I'm just starting endmyopia and I believe I've achieved it already. I can't get it on command but yesterday I did it around 20 times. The first time I did it I wasn't even trying. I was just finishing a 60 minute walk at around 9am (day light and the image being naturally lit seems to be important, early morning light which wasn't too bright so my eyes were relaxed) And I looked at a car number plate across the road. I blink and open my eyes and I have this weird sensation, and the number plate became clear. I cannot describe how to do it, no one can. It would be like asking you to explain how to breath, it cannot be explained you either know it or you do not know it. I can describe what it looks like. When you focus your phone camera by tapping the screen it looks very similar to that. Vision seems to 'zoom' in by a few percent and the image comes into focus.

    NottNott I’ve reached Equalizing point after 3 years in DIY Endmyopia. Began with low myopia (-3.00). Discarded my Diffz long ago. Eliminated CYL from Normz too. My diopter ratio started @1D. Reduced it to 0.75, then 0.50. Unsuccessful. Could not clear. Had to backtrack to 0.75D. Will be following Jake’s advise for next Equalizing go-around - alternating single eye with double eye reductions. Will be following your Equalizing with interest. Excellent video journaling!

    Thanks! One other question - how much screen time do you spend per day combined? Mobile phone, laptop/PC, etc.. I'm not sure how much is "too much" to be a detriment to improvements without sacrificing work.

  • @NottNott

    @NottNott

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@dyno7253 Yesterday I spent like at least 3 hours on screen time for instance. Instead of thinking how much, think about the effects on your biology. Too much screen time will induce cilliary spasm (you'll feel this more as you go down the diopters), but as long as you get your distance vision in around that time you will probably make up for it and have no troubles. I can only speak for myself, and having around that much screen time a day hasn't been causing me problems. Rule number 1 is differentials or no glasses for close up, you get hyperopic defocus with normalised/full strength prescription glasses up close, which will stimulate elongation.

    Definitely a mistake of mine was not equalising early enough, however this all has happened so stupidly quickly. It takes most people 3-4 months to reduce their glasses, at my rate of progress I'll seemingly have actually finished this journey in that time. That's a tiny diopter gap you have there, you can wait until you're -2 quite easily and you'll sort that out in no time :)

    I’m quite confused here. I started my journey 1 year ago when i bought glasses that were .-5 weaker for both eyes (starting was -4 both eyes). When i went for an eye test, i got hit with a cylindrical correction of .75 on left and .25 on right which i thought was ridiculous; I decided to buy -3.5 for both eyes, but a year passed and very little has changed. I am quite envious of your results here. I would like to know more on how you ameliorated your vision on a far shorter span of time than mine. Even thiugh, I have been “active focus” since the start, very little has changed.

    Hi ! Im really confused about this... I read and watch some vlogs but i dont know how to start i dont know of this is interesting to you. This my story im started endymyopia last year october 2019 im wearing -2.25 (that is i know) i never go in optemerist to check on my eye i only check the glasses i wear so that i know my prescription but my glasses is blurred at far distance at that time. Im afraid to change my glasses to high prescription again thats why i searched about preventing myopia, then i found endmyopia im starting AF since my glasses is a blurry at far and this is my mistake maybe because i force to much and get a eye strain when i focus to a text in far i can do AF focus a little but after that my eyes has a lot of red vein and my eyeball are pain so i stop AF maybe a week and back to normal but im aware of using my glasses so i remove always when i do close up (using mobile and on my work as a facialist) i dont have time outdoors beacause of my work 12hours working indoors, because i have no problem with no glasses thats the best thing i learn to endmyopia after that i continue AF slowly after a year i see an improvement i can easly do focus on the text at far it becomes clear but im afraid to reduce my glasses i dont know if im ready or not. One time my glasses is broken and change to my same diopter -2.25 but the problem is my new glasses are hard to find AF, going back the eye strain mostly 9n left eye and the red veins on my eyes starting again im feeling that im going back to start again its same diopters on my old glasses i dont know what happened. One more I check my eyes only in the autorefractor its -2.50 when i buy the new one and i said to them i want the same prescription on my old glasses. What im gonna do im confused a lot should i give up 😭😭
