    Very useful commentary about both early game mechanical play and late game decisionmaking! It was exciting to see how the players reacted to each others' strategies, and both fun and useful to hear your analysis of why they did what they did, when they did it.

    A special request: You should do a video specifically on transitions, both from one (meta) build to another. I always have problems in my economy switching from, say, feudal archers to castle knights.

    as you switch from feudal archers into knights, you will start getting excess wood which will be needed for farms in the production of knights. so just slowly start moving vils from wood to farms.

    Very very good video. I like your analysis of why each decisions was good/bad and what could be done instead. As an idea it would be good to be able to compare how a pro reacts to similar situations. For example, when he was tower rushed, show how pros reacts (and even when appropriate a couple of methods). Anyways, keep up the great work and very much looking forward to the next one.

    I really think after the initial tower rush he should have made counters to the archers with his forward vills and built a forward range and then maybe a siege. i also believe he should have been paying attention to his economy.

    I love your videos and just recently went on another binge to watch all the ones I may have missed. I really enjoy your commentary and I hope that you are doing okay and that things will get easier for you in this new year :) Do you need help editing footage? I saw you mentioning a huge backlog of content that needs to be edited/streams that need to be edited at several points in the past months, and I could help with that if you are short on time! I could also help with thumbnails or titles, just let me know :)

    @@Resonance22Channel I didn't just watch your most recent things, the thing that I enjoyed most was you playing nomad, I think it was an Ethiopians game, only found it because I was looking for some nomad Ethiopians stuff ;) I think Nomad is incredibly fun to play and watch because of how unpredictable it is and how much you have to adapt to whatever you get. I also enjoyed the Feudal Age coaching video, the Rick's fast feudal on Land Nomad and your Armello content in general. I'd need more time to name more :p I don't really use Twitter but you can add me on Discord @UniqueActive#9088. I am not on your Discord yet unfortunately, although I'd love to be, because I don't have a Patreon account :)

    Res, what do you think of the recent past, practically every Chinese player going for full tower rush(as in towers all game) in at least half their games, regardless of the civ? The way they execute it, they are seemingly able to do that IN RESPONSE to walling, like if they see a player wall, they immediately think towers. And the amount of resource denial they do, is it worth pulling the number of villagers they do(they can pull sometimes even 7 vills forward) and eventually daisy chain their towers to the point they will force so much walking time and idle time that eventually, they will starve their opponents out of resources.

  • @OrIoN1989

    @OrIoN1989

    Might be because they can deny resources even outside of the wall, and creates a killzone where they later can breach.

    Hi Anirudh! Yeah players can go for Towers as a way to prevent walling or in response to it. Tower Rushing is very strong at the moment

    @@Resonance22Channel I don't even mean rushing as such. The players of SY and Frantic love going towers all game long in an attempt to slowly choke their opponents out of even secondary golds and stones and even farm space around their main TC. That's how far I have seen towers go in the past one year. I have seen even popular players of Arena like DarkNoob and JonSlow love their towers as of late, even going into Imp with Keeps. Thing is, as long as they can deny their opponent from ever getting space(or the stone) for a castle, there is little one can do about Guard Towers and Keeps on a closed map like Arena. Castle Age battering rams simply don't cut it there.
