Age of Empires II: Coaching - 1v1 Arabia Early Game
Ойындар
Happy Holidays everyone! As my gift to everyone I have a brand new Age of Empires II commentary, important coaching tips for Arabia. On Christmas Eve I'll also post a special Pokemon Battle Commentary so if you'd like to celebrate with me then definitely give it a watch. I really appreciate it. :) I think the commentary on this one is particularly helpful since I focus more on one player. #AgeOfEmpires2

great game. Sometimes I actually prefer the "not expert" games. Makes we wanna play myself. If I only see Viper etc. I get more intimidated by watching them than anything else. I prefer the shorter games than the longer ones. More Coaching games!!!! GG
Yes yes yes! Love the coaching vids, and am *SO* down for more. The expert games are great and all, but it’s nice whenever I realize I’m not the Viper that I can learn from other average Joes too.
To celebrate the holiday season I have 2 new uploads which I think you'll all enjoy! Today it's a helpful Age of Empires II coaching session and next as a passion project, a competitive Pokemon Battle which has some really interesting strategy to it. As always I appreciate the support! :) I'm happy with my commentary again
Good to see you Res , i hope you are doing well. Good luck :)

Thank you Eric, that's kind of you! :D It's great to see you and everyone again. I am doing much better now that I've recovered from my medical absence in November (asthma from local fires). The streams have been super fun since Dec 8th too so I've been excited to record new videos. Best wishes man
I liked the commentary after the end of the game. So true the points about attitude.
Stumbling across these videos has inspired me to start playing aoe2 again. Thanks!
I started on this (like i must have less than 20 matches and pretty much all of the against IA in a team with friends) game recently and your videos are helping me improve so much, hope you upload more frequently
i started playing aoe2 a few weeks ago and your videos really helped me :D ,ty
Another great commentary. I love learning while being entertained. :)

Thank you Dariusz! The feedback is always appreciated. That's the style I try to go for and I think this game turned out great
Great stuff Res!
very nice to see u back. Please continue, u r very important for the AoE comunity!
Love this channel, if for no other reason, the reaction at the 15-16 minute mark to the knights
Great video! Keep them coming, mate 👍
I'm glad you didn't stop the aoe2 videos last stream I watched I thought you had threw in the towel.

Thanks Aaron! It's been motivating to see the kind comments and support for my recent Pokemon Battle Tutorial/Overview and here. I think I enjoy casting these kinds of Aoe2 games more, ones where I can do analysis and be unique with my commentary. 1.0c has been refreshing too. Cheers!
you have an amazing voice Res

And there's a quarantine
anyone know if the villagers only farm bottom left of farms in DE version?
Great vid thanx man. Looking to get back into AoE and to start adding that to my own streams in the future. Seeing vids like these make me feel better about myself (even though I'm WAY behind this level right now). Gonna be looking back to all your old vids to get myself up to the level that I was before Just out of curiosity - what are the ELO's of the 2 players in this vid (HD)?
Do you have the DE edition???
Good to see you back up and healthy again, keep up the good work!
Will you ever do coaching like Nobody?
I wish you still played Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. I started playing it competitively after I saw your videos, but the community is so small. But I cannot leave SWGB, it's too great. :(
Things to improve for purple: Be more aggressive towards the enemy's woodline and gold. You can linger around with your archers/cav archers and cripple his economy. Then just retreat and attack another spot. Don't waste your time attacking buildings, concentrate on the villagers. Just avoid towers, its usually not worth attacking them and losing a lot of the early army. See you online :D
You say a few times if your new to the game you dont need to worry about.... Well what if youve been playing for 21 years and you still need these videos?
Hotkey vid plz and thanks
It's 2021 and he's not in castle age yet
23:30 watching in 2021, still havent reached the Castle Age

Haha I feel ya but these days I find the classic metagame refreshing when I find the right games. It's got less civ variety but settings can fix that. I love all the subtle strategy that comes with 1.0c and how each build interacts. It's a really cool ecosystem that I think Break the Meta episode #1-21 showcases. :)
