Afraid to start a new biologic medication? | 5 things to consider

Hi! These are 5 points that I've had to consider when I was nervous or concerned about trying a new biologic medication. They're in no particular order and they may not all resonate with you. They're just things to think about to support you in making decisions about starting a medication. Hope it helps!

Yoga nidra (aka NSDR) is a restorative experience for the brain and body.
In this unique holistic practice, the brain goes through the various brain waves that occur during sleep while you remain awake and aware.
This allows for the physical body to rest deeply and rejuvenate like how it does during sleep. Except you are awake and aware during this process simultaneously. Science is now studying and verifying the positive effects yoga nidra has on the brain and body.
As you go into the slower brain wave states, the mind and body get to rest and restore in ways that are harder to do while going about our day (which is when the mind and body are mostly active).

I’m going through yet another medication decision, this is exactly how I feel. I love your informative, compassionate, and insightfulness. I’m going to try diet change along with other things. So depressing when you are in pain. Thank you for your videos

Thank you for posting these videos! I was diagnosed with ra in November and unfortunately, my dr wants to move towards biologics. I’ve already pushed it off twice now because I’ve panicked. Lol. I know at this next appointment, I need to make a decision, but it’s pretty terrifying right now.

I don't take Humira anymore but a lot of people do and it works for them. I'm on Simponi (a biologic like Humira) now but I haven't made a video about it. It's worked well for me. Not as hardcore as Remicade or Rituxan.
