FastCap Please go back to the old cap design for the Fat Boy pencil. The eraser falls out too easily in the new configuration. Do you have any old style ones laying around that I could buy?

FastCap ...........and you would use "I", not "me" in both situations above. You continue the sentence for proper use. "You would know better than I (do). Not, "You would know better than me (do).

FastCap Not a huge problem, I (and all the guys I work with) prefer the older design with the eraser under the cap. It falls out of the top, leaving a hole in the cap. We just prefer the old design. It is still the absolute best pencil available. We are framing carpenters, and never have to sharpen our pencils. I turn everyone on to them.

Does this work on exterior door condo hinges? (20mm - 3/4" bore) door hinge with spring load?

It’s certainly possible. It’s strictly a function of been able to bend one knuckle at a time when they’re bigger and thicker they don’t bend is easy.

Works well but it damages the surface of the hinge.

It’s just really stiff, pull the pin tool out a lot and use it as leverage to rotate the red end. Mine was the same.

You scratched the heck out of that hinge knuckle. You are also suppose to have the wrench reversed, same direction though.

Great idea. We will consider it when we do another re-design! If you are worried about the hinge though, a simple shop cloth between the tool and the door works great!
