This is, of course, AFTER checking for stripped hinge screws and/or terrible hinge mortising.
I learned this trick many years ago. But I used either a 3/8" end wrench or a 6" crescent wrench doing the same technic

I've fixed quite a few residential doors and the problem is never a bent hinge. It's always that the building has settled or the door has warped. Usually the problem is the door rubbing on the top of the frame. On rare occasion it is that the screws on the hinges have worked loose, which is easy to fix with a screwdriver.

I had a commercial door that had a fire rated exit device on it and the latch on the exit device was actually rubbing against the strike. So when a door is rubbing that far down, can I still do this?
Wouldnt this scratch and remove any plating?

It shouldn't, the tool is anodized aluminum.

i noticed in your case that your door was rubbing the side of your door frame but for me my door isnt rubbing againste the left side of the door hinge and instead my door is rubbing against the top of my door frame. Will this work for me?

Try shimming the top hinge out or could be the bottom hinge is not fully morticed out enough all depending how much room you have on the side

You didn’t demo the other pieces in the kit as you said you would. The direction onforce, toward the lockset seems backwards to me. How can pushing the hinge in the direction of the lockset make the top of the door move in the opposite direction of the direction you’re bending the hinge???

The arrow is the the positioning of the tool . You crank towards the lockset also . As for the other hinge tools , you simply slide the tool on the hinge , open the door untill there is a bit of restriction . Then open a bit more and check if it was enough . He was wrong about one thing tough . The black one is not for residetial hinges . It is for 4 1/2 commercial hinges . The blue one is for ball bearing commercial hinges

Not cheap. The kit is around $250. It is worth it in my opinion!

@@bradleyb4178 I picked up the Hulk for 25 cents because I thought it looked cool. Didn't know what it was so I looked it up. $100+ USD new.
