Great video. I've seen people make adjustments and never understood. The tool most of the people I watched used was a wrench. So thank you very much for all the videos that you do you're fabulous and I look forward to more thanks again

I have only seen a few of your videos, but they have all been spot-on! Everything you have said and shown here is absolutely correct -- but, just like about everything else in carpentry, there are different ways to do the same thing. I've (long retired now) used this same method on, probably, a couple of thousand doors. However I always used an adjustable crescent wrench (had to be a larger one, like a 12") and did it with the pointy end towards the door and the round side towards where I wanted to roll the hinge. Worked most of the time. When it didn't I would then remove the casing leg (very carefully) and then have enough room to "roll" the hinge further. A matter of time if you're paid by the job and not by the hour....of course, if it is Your Door, then you'd have to be the "painter" who would have to re-detail the molding and your way could both be longer and shorter, time-wise, until completion of the repair. I am constantly amazed at the different tools now available (versus 20 years ago), but haven't forgotten that the most important tool any craftsman has is "his/her brain"! Well, you've certainly got it kid. Shown me some very good techniques. Thanks

Leah is a natural born talent. Professional teachers are a different kind of breed. They teach for a living. It's their job. For Leah it's her passion. Leah is the grandmother. They tell calmly and explain why. A class is to big. Teaching professional can only be done with huge numbers. Or it must be 4 or 5 kids from rich parents, who are not interested anyway. Leah did more for me and the world then any world leader, any politician. Leah for president !

So I'm going to get a knuckle bender and do my doors myself (72 year old eccentric cat lady). I wish she'd show how to do this on a glass storm door where the hinges are tiny. Anyway, I read the reviews of the people who used the exact tool she recommended at the Amazon site she posted...most of the reviews complained about one of the tips breaking off. SO, I'm going to look around and see if I can find one that may be a better quality. But I'm so glad I found her video and specifically looked for just this demonstration! Yay, Leah!!! Good job!
