this is too years old but I hope you may find it to answer me: Since Dev kits have 1GB RAM instead of 512mb, can this be put to use in games after DEX2CEX on PDEL?

Am I seeing that right, are those models dev kits? I've never seen standard 1000 models with those ports.

Since April Fool's is over, I'll tell you: you're absolutely right! These are both PDEL-1002 dev kits and I think the only thing in this tutorial possible on retail units is activating henkaku.

Depends on the model, this does work on a DEM-3000JEC, which is a very late prototype and runs the same firmwares as PDEL series. I've even got henkaku on mine!

Developers used these to test games as they were writing them, PDEL-1001 development kits here.

You should really use red_msg_del.suprx or activate.vpk to prevent burn in of the activation message Also there is enso dex for dev/testkit

Thanks! I activated one of them, can't seem to deactivate it by holding start+select+PS+power as activate.vpk suggests, is it possible to install enso dex on it while activated?
