@@trattore8742 also fun fact the ps4 was codenamed Project Orbis before it was released which in Latin means Circle. So with the Vita and the Orbis you get "The Circle of Life".(They used Latin rather than Italian for the naming although they are similar)

I remember several years ago, if you had a PSP you were considered one of the "cool kids" lol. I like my switch and would be down for competition but sony cant repeat the same mistakes they made with the vita in terms of pricing...

That LBP level was so wholesome

NFS Most Wanted on the Vita was so much fun online in its prime! So much memories with that game. Still one of my favorite NFS games to this day

I'm still playing Gravity Rush, All Star Battle Royale,and Wipeout 2048, alongside with my Nintendo Switch, planning to snag in a PS3(since that's the only home console I missed playing), while I save up for my PS5, still got some tons of PS4 games to play.

DS was far more innovative, considering that it invented touch-screen gaming. Having said that, the PSVita was entirely underrated. Also considering that the 3DS family went out of production last year, it will probably be a while (read: decades probably) until a pure (brand name) handheld console will be released ever again.

I still play PS Vita! Just got 100% with the expansions on Minecraft PS Vita. Now going for Most Wanted. Probably my favourite system Sony ever made.

Awesome video, I still play my Vita regularly to this day. I’m pleased to say I got the platinums for LBP and Killzone earlier this year. So many fond memories of this console since I got it in 2013.

Killzone Mercenary is the technical achievement masterpiece,...one of the best graphics that still hold up today and runs like a dream,...i never have any slowdown, hiccups, and crashes in my experience even once

I don't play many fps games but killzone is one of my favorite game. The only thing that bothers me is that it don't have ad-hoc connection.

@@KnightSoulsG yes. i bought OLED one for $145 with 8gb memory card 6 months ago. It's in perfect condition no scratches. Battery is at 95% capacity. Make sure it is in good condition if you are paying around $150. And oled tends to be more expensive than slim.

Everyone loves a bit of cheese in their life.

I regret never buying a Vita. It always looked appealing, but I just never thought I would use it enough to justify the purchase. It seems like every time I decide to buy one just to own one, Sony announces they will no longer officially support the Vita. Then, time passes and I think I'll buy one again and Sony announces they are closing the store. Doh!

You can easily hack it, and add games for free, including psp and PS1 games also. Look it up, probably it will be the only way to get games digitally after store shuts down

Please can we give some props to Sony for keeping these servers up for players in 2021? I mean, it's amazing to think they don't need to keep these servers up, it makes them no profit, however they do so anyway simply because it's pro-veteran-consumer. It's so warm and nostalgic to watch these videos where people, over a decade or so later, are still playing on PS3 and PS Vita. It's wonderful stuff, so thank you Sony for keeping these servers up and running for old-time, veteran players to be active on, and THANK YOU Mystic for showing these servers and the people within them off! It's so heartwarming and makes me very happy.

Do you not understand what "official" means? It means they're not using a Ps2 with the standard online service that came the Ps2. They're using an emulator, which by definition is not "official". Don't try to act like I'm the dense one here.

I remember playing NFS most wanted on the Vita. I completed that game just to get the Buggati, it was so much fun! Sold my vita long back though and bought back the PSP Go and 3000.

Been watching for quite some time but KZread is not recommending me your videos at all, just thought it’s been a while since I have watched a mystic video.

@@KnightSoulsG I would say yes if you have 140 to spend. I paid 250 for mine if my memory serves me, although I bought it new. But yeah it's a great hand held the only draw backs are the memory cards are expensive and the games are getting expensive too as the demand goes up with the online store closing.

Never owned a vita but I do own a PSP GO since it came out in '09! I still love my GO and use it to this day, I obviously hacked it, incredible games like GTA VCS, GTA LCS, GOW COO, GOW GOS, Midnight club, Daxter, LBP, and more. So I can imagine how much people love the Vita that can play PSP games, PS1 classics, PS2 remakes, and of course Vita games, will definitely get the VIta down the line.

Killzone, just by seeing that game in your video flashed my childhood within seconds :')

Some fighting games are still relatively active. I usually find games on Street Fighter X Tekken and Garou.

Thanks for Vita coverage outside of modding. I like to play games on Vita but, unfortunately, our future with this handheld is dark and sooner or later all units will be modded (at least for microSD adaptor)
