Where I live In Canada this cold snap has left us with -45 weather. A stray cat came to the window, whiskers frozen asking for help! I’m so glad she got our attention. And so glad she is now safe and warm!

Thanks for taking her in. She was obviously somebody’s pet at some point - ferals don’t usually do that unless they’ve been sheltered and fed at that location and even then, it’s rare. Poor thing. She picked the right Hoomans.

Yes and we all need to work together to stop the abuse animals are experiencing in America and then elsewhere, abusers who hurt maim and kill innocent animals are aggressive in our communities and feel intitled. We all must put a stop to them. It's the civilized vs the barbarians, animals, dogs cats, others they live in this world too they deserve good lives, if you ever look you'll see horror stories, let's make a promise to stop these kinds of people, and Don't accidently lose your dog, your cat, any animal you love, it can be horrible for them without homes and our protection. And they deserve our kindness

I agree my saying is if God created anything better than dogs, he kept it in heaven. We have 5 dogs our newest puppy is Siberian Husky (Grampa) and Cocker Spaniel (both parents who sigh are brother and sister) she looks like a spaniel but has those blue eyes. She's only 4 months old right now it's been interesting watching her personality come out. Anna In Ohio

Sounds to me like they at the very least made sure he was dripped off somewhere safe. We never know what's happening in someome else's life.

Mackey is incredibly beautiful, and smart and loving .. What a charmer ! And his Family are perfect for him ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So glad Mackey got such a wonderful home with loving parents. ❤ He does seem like a super cool dog! 🙌🏽

Husky's are generally friendly and do not tend to bark much, they are far from quiet, emitting a wide variety of “woos,” chirps, and howls. They are extremely clever about escaping. So, it was fun watching him open the door.

He is stunning!!!! So freaking cute!!!! Both him and dad are goofballs, in a good way.... You guys make a loving family and that's all that matters!!!

I agree with her statement- “Dogs are the Best thing to happen to the humanity.” Absolutely!❤️ How was it that Macky was dumped at the shelter?! I’m sure there were reasons for dropping him at the shelter, most likely “forced” into give him up. I can not imagine how difficult it must’ve been to drop him off!

Some people just can't handle the work involved in training and house-breaking a puppy. I took the attitude that if my puppy had an accident in the house, it was my fault and my responsibility to work harder at training him. It really paid off when I started taking him outside every two hours within the daytime and set the alarm to take him out once in the middle of the night. We went from stress-inducing to problem-solving and now I couldn't be happier with my doggie friend.

I can say that’s 50 lbs of love and joy. He’s gorgeous!!

Dogs need leadership and boundaries balanced with praise and treats. Boundaries meaning the dog must do something to earn everything he gets from you including access onto furniture, thru doorways and food/toys. Without leadership and healthy boundaries all the praise in the world will not make a dog feel secure. Dogs are not mentally or psychologically equipped to lead in a complex human world, the human should be making the decisions

Back in the 70's we hadda dog named Echo..He was a collie basenji cross..Basenjees are an Egyptian breed & are considered barkless..but yodeled as a greeting when he was happy to see you..Echo did bark, but seldom..Died of cancer in 1977..Really miss him..

@@Argumemnon I met my boy Baldurdash at the kennel the day he was born; my old dog had been boarding and she was in the whelping room as the midwoof. 'Dash picked out my old dog as his mentor, and warmed up to me. Now Aani is gone, but she taught him to be my dog. She did a good job, and he's a live wire, and the best heating pad you could wish for.

Bingo!! Mackey certainly is an adoption lottery winner! Regarding his mixed heritage - Malamutes howl alot, and Pitties are usually quite chatty once loved/in a furever home situation. Oh that Wackey Mackey is a flirty looker for sure - congrats!
