Actually she is not a PT but an LMT. Physical therapists do not give massages. Massage therapist. She is a licensed massage therapist. LMT;)

This is beautiful. I’m an ex nurse, I developed a neuro disease and can’t walk well anymore. This hit me everywhere it matters. I bet she will be so inspiring for the kids if she becomes a service dog.

My hubs asked me what I wanted when his company sells: I said a few acres and a bunch of construction workers to help me build animals houses. I want to work from home taking in every unloved animal. That’s my dream

@@milli5968 The dog is crippled, it can't have a normal existence, I think the humane thing to do would be to euthanize the poor thing. Survival of the fittest, if left up to nature the dog would have died. If they brought her to a shelter they would have euthanized her. It'd be hard to do but ultimately it would probably be for the best.

My golden was tied up in a plastic bag and tossed out of a car window at a traffic light. Just like like garbage. The SPCA was about 4km's down that same road. Fortunately the people a few cars behind saw movement in the bag and investigated. She grew into a beautiful golden retriever. I have no idea why they tossed her, but lucky me, I was her mom for 12 years, and I loved her to bits. We lost her 8 years ago, and I miss her every day.

I'm actually glad that it happened, because she is definitely with the right person now and in the right home. It's very possible that whoever abandoned her knew they couldn't care for her properly, although the way they abandoned her was very poorly done. But she's in the best possible place now and she's going to have an amazing life.

Why are people assuming she was abandoned? I didn't hear anything in this video that implies that. She was in a cage and someone took her out, but there was nothing about the cage being off in some random place, it might have been in someone's yard.

@@viktoriyashaykhuzina13 both are possible. It depends on how long she was kept in that cage. If she grew up in it, then it’s fully possible her legs were deformed bc she couldn’t properly move around in it.

Its beautiful to watch Stella and lucky. Its like Stella immediately knew that lucky was different but deserves to be treated like any other dog, just more gently.

I Hope they are Comfortable, padded, + with a degree of Suspension, but Not Too Bouncy! On the Dodo yesterday, a Fantastic Goat, who had to have like a carriage/wheels with a harness. She went from Not moving around at all, to getting rid of the rig, to Running on Her own, at Great Speed!! The Rescuer/Owner built the rig, Encouraged the Goat, And She was Off! It makes you feel So Happy, to See them Happy + So Joyful!! Free to move around, gives them Confidence, and they're not depressed anymore!!

Imagine a world where rescued children find love, therapy and new families like Lucky did. 💞

Not sure what's more inspiring, Lucky or the young woman who adopted her... Beautiful story that's sure to go on for many, many years... Thank you, thank you, thank you... ..

I think Stella knew Lucky's limits and was so gentle, its a sad day when stella has to show Lucky's previous owners what kindness is🐾💞

@Se Se What you're claiming isn't accurate, "we haven't got over skin color"?... most people don't judge others by skin color, but by character/behavior, you must buy into all that systemic racism/rampant white supremacy bullshit the media has been pushing and poisoning people with. "Disability"... in the past people didn't even allow the disabled/weak to live, these days we care for them, there's an entire industry built around just that. "Language"... not sure what you're even trying to say there? People who value an animal's life over their fellow man are more of a problem than anything... no humanity, no sense of community, no empathy, no love for one another... that's what makes people "a mess". You just have an unhealthy perspective of the human race, you choose to see the bad in people, maybe due to being hurt by someone and not being able to move past it, or maybe you dislike yourself and project that onto everyone. that is why in certain religion dog is forbidden, many including its followers misunderstood the purpose, this is the real purpose. The mind behind the religion want human to be accompanied by fellow humans and to get married. Dog is kind of hindrance as it alleviates the loneliness of humans so that it could replace humans as companions.

Just look at what's happening in the news. People are increasingly violent and irresponsible. It's as much a pandemic as the virus. Sure there are wonderful caring people, and we see them in these videos but there are a lot of mean people out there. I've been rescuing cats and dogs for 40 years and I've seen it all. Look at what they do in China during the yearly dog-eating festival. We have a long way to go.

E de Montfort i Totally Agree. is that where they send, is it Husky Dogs? All I saw was a picture, and for food is what I was thinking. God gave us Charge to look after the earth, AND the Animals. There are Very Sick + evil people about. I hve started to Pray for People + Animals, and For Justice for them Both, who are abused in any way, physically, mentally + emotionally. I used to be a foster for a rescue group when i lived down south. I could tell you horror stories. One of my fosters was so attached, i ended up adopting her myself.

Anna Rocha Love it! There's a goat who couldn't even stand. Her Rescuer, helped Her to stand, So Built up Her muscles. Then made her a carriage with a harness, so She could walk, which quickly turned into a Run!! Now She can walk, + Run at Great Speed, on Her own, even though She veers to the side!! She was either born with a problem on that side, or had gotten injured. All She could do was lie there, despondent, Until this Wonderful Woman Helped Her, and got Her onto Her Feet. There's No Stopping Her Now, She Is Amazing + Inspiring, Like Lucky!!

First rule of prosthetics: wherever possible, do not discourage movement of limbs or joints. Wheels would mean lucky would use her front legs less, so while the supports look uncomfortable (they aren't, BTW- but confidence and balance take time to master), they're much better for lucky in the long run as they encourage her to keep using her front legs, while reducing pressure on her spine and rear legs which could lead to further adverse muscle/tendon issues.

@Chucka369 No, and I'm going to assume you don't either, but I do know a bit about prosthetics and adaptive equipment. Those prosthetics are designed to reduce strain on the dog's spine while encouraging movement of the forelimbs. Wheels would work for the spine, but would not encourage the use of the forelimbs.

I love seeing the way Stella kept gently rolling her head on Lucky, so sweet. We can learn so much about being better people by seeing how much compassion there is in animals. What lovely dogs, and what lovely people to adopt them. I bet the kids who meet Lucky will feel incredibly inspired.

IDK, money aside he tends to do surgery only when the dogs risk dying or their quality of life would be unbearable, so in Lucky's case he might have done the same with physio, massage, etc.

She reminds me of like a little squirrel, scooting around with such high speeds 😁

Thank the good Lord for creating people like you. For every one person that has a heart of stone, there are four or five that have hearts filled with LOVE and Generosity and Caring and Patience ...GOD bless you all and GOD bless Lucky with a long and healthy life.

So thankful to who rescued her. People who abandon animals and especially locked in a cage are disgusting. Very glad Lucky found her forever home. God bless her : )

The girl is a perfect match for lucky. She knew how to show patience because she worked with children and a nurse. Plus, this dog will show those kids that their disabilities don’t hold them back. That they to can overcome any obstacle they want.
