One of these days a dog will bite him in the face when they meet for the first time. He’s good with dogs, but when he meets a dog for the first time he immediately puts his face up to the dog’s face. You can see some of them freeze and even try to pull away. I hope it will never happen but it wouldn’t surprise me.

@Lonie good point but in this case he approached the dog carefully and by letting her sniff his hands first,what we see in the videos is just a fraction from the time he actually interact and spend with the dogs,pretty sure he reads dogs correctly but indeed you never know with a traumatized or a scared dog

Lee and the Asher House does it again!! It's so sad, poor Daisy was literally nothing but skin and bones. I will never understand why, or how someone could, would do that. My dog will have before I will, I wouldn't care if it was the last money I had!! Breaks my heart sweet Daisy was even in a position like that!!

That is so very true.

Asher is so great. He gets dogs out of shelters, he helps them feel better. Some stay with him and some he finds homes for. It's always a blessing for the dog. Daisy looks very happy now.

Both rescues we've adopted have completely transformed once they got home. They all want to belong so, so badly, and being alone in a shelter no doubt makes them feel horrible. They might even feel like they've done something wrong to be without a "pack." Once they know they belong and that they'll be loved, they completely open up and become some of the sweetest, most loving dogs I've ever been around. They know what it's like to be without love, and they don't let it go once they find it. Thank God for all of the dog foster parents and the people who adopt from shelters.

@@jonathanlee5314 Yeah. That curly tail, markings, coat color, and the lack of barking makes me think she might have some basenji in her. I had a basenji mix and she was very quiet when we adopted her. She did bark but only when she got excited or saw someone coming to the door. Finding a basenji mix in the shelter is such a rare thing.
