@@SalComposer A true man loves his dog (or any animal) and he certainly does. Bless him : ) I hate the name "pit bull" in Australia we call them bull terriers,our boy is just adorable and he is such a clown. The down side? He's always farting and does he stink! SBD - silent but deadly!

@@angelau1194 U might check with his VET about his daily diet!? Just like in humans ...his consistent gas issues are generally totally diet or indigestion issues! ALL of which can be resolved!🐶 💝 Also , always do check for bumps when you relax & stroke your baby's body! ( Hard growths: unfortunately turn out to be cancerous at times... Luckily, they can be removed easily , IF...they are detected & dealt with properly early !!) Ok.. many happy , healthy years to you, your family and your precious furbaby !🙏🐾🐶🌲⛄

Pitbulls probably has a slightly higher agression tendency then the typical family dog but nothing normal training wont deal with, and i fully agree that the problem is almost always the owner. Alot of people get dogs

@@Eleriol84 true, some pitbulls are selectively bred for an aggressive personality, and yet everyone blames the dog for it. No! It's the people who bred that into the dog's fault! The dog can't help it, but the one thing you can do to help is give pitties unconditional love and let them be exposed to a good environment, train that aggression out of them!

Wow, saved from dog fighting, saved from being euthanized, and then goes to a loving home and a great job that he appears to enjoy while working with his Dad. This was just an AWESOME story, this baby is living his best life now for sure.

What a great ambassador for his breed and such a valuable life almost taken! I pray that these breed specific laws get redacted or at least rewritten to save dogs like Hansel! I don't understand why Ontario fought so hard to urbanize even the puppies when there was an organization that was willing to take the dogs outside of the province.

This dog was rescued from my area. It was heartbreaking to know that this activity was happening here. I was so grateful to Dog Tales for taking these dogs in and fighting for them. Most were saved! In Ontario we have been working very, very hard to have the BSL removed and are getting there!!! This video brought tears to my eyes seeing how great of a life he is living and the amazing work he is doing along side of you! Thank you so much!

Thank you for saving this dog, and the rescue group for saving the others. Pitbulls should not be allowed to be discriminated against or be put down. They are NOT bad dogs.

I love how these adopters are so outwardly different in appearance or hobbies or background - and, beneath the superficial stuff, they’re all just fantastic human beings who are exactly the same in the ways that count: overflowing with love and compassion and the commitment needed to transform these animals’ lives forever.

Bless this man and the group in Ontario who fought so hard and so long to save his life!! Hansel is a beautiful fella! Pitties are such an incredible breed -- It breaks my heart that horrible, evil people have abused them and trained them to fight. Pitties are loving, smart, loyal, brave and most of all -- they want to make their people happy. BSL is horrible!!! It's just bigotry and ignorance given power and is wrong!

He trained him well, he's taking care of him, he knows him well, he proud of him, he loves him for sure, and yeah he is definitely right "dogs are not born to hate and kill, that's what we're looking for between men and dogs. Well done, sir! 👏🎩

This dog, simply by being the wonderful, loyal, intelligent animal he is - speaks VOLUMES for the breed. And that has helped change things. Not to mention.. he's a 'dog with a job"...

Everyone who gives this breed a chance is never disappointed. They're just such loving souls ESPECIALLY for their human pack members

I absolutely adore hearing grown men talk in their little baby doggy voices. No matter how big the guy is or how tough the job is .. they don't care who hears them!! it's just adorable!❤❤🐕🐶

These two love each other, it’s plain to see. They belong to each other the rescue group just facilitated it. It’s just lovely how it has all worked out.

What a happy dog who is an amazing ambassador for his breed. So clever and a loving owner. This is so needed to show people, it’s not the breed, it’s how they are raised. Thank you to all those who work so hard to rescue these wonderful dogs. Give them a chance.

That’s amazing that 21 pit bulls were fought for and won!! Truly remarkable! And I’m so glad, that Hansel is thriving and living his best life and a firedog. I love his cheesy smile. So freaking adorable.

He means well but he's a terrible advoate for pitbulls. Nearly a 1,000,000 pit bulls are put down in America annually under current system, In Ontario that number is less than a 1000. Even factoring in population difference (330M vs 15M) which option is far far more cruel to pitbulls? There does need to be breed specific legislation. There seem to be two main options... either ban the breed (not my preference) or create a licensed breeder program and have stiff fines for those that pitpulls without a license. Only if we keep the numbers of dogs down can the endless mass slaughter of pitbulls end.

Yes indeed all special & precious, just seems nuts that the officials would make them go thro a 2year court battle costing millions (?) Of dollars, to save the lives of 21 dogs... I've been watching videos by a brave young American man rescuing dogs from the meat trade in Ghana who really needs more help, and what a difference a fraction of that money could make for him and many traumatised dogs who have their front legs tied together behind their backs, muzzles tightly tied, shoved in tiny cages on top of other tied dogs, or chained, hearing cries of other dogs and slaughter noises, it's heartbreaking and appalling.. bless him all he's done and doing to help them but too much for one person, even several, dog sauver global channel, & I know there are others and in other countries but need so many more.. love & prayers from UK

Thank you for showing the true nature of these lovable goofballs. Hansel´s story is similar to a pittie found during a drug raid. One of the police officers found a pit bull puppy, kept him and got him trained for searching drugs. It´s like you said: the problem is the human, not the dog.

This dog is a hero!!! I wish all the departments gave this breed a chance. We’d be able to save more of them.🥺

this dog literally has more achievements and contributes more on the society than many other humans out there. Amazing dog and owner!

What an amazing story, imagine a world where people just gave up on such beautiful dogs because we are told they are aggressive and bad. Well this story reminds me that people make their own decisions on what’s good or bad. @@dukecityfisherman5788 I think the message is more so that a) the stereotyping of certain breeds has led to a situation in which an organization has to spend millions to represent them in court, and b) as demonstrated by Hansel in the video this is a completely inaccurate generalization. And yea while we as individuals probably dont have the resources to spend millions saving animals, an organization literally dedicated to that cause doing so isn’t some huge surprise.

That's a wonderful story! I don't have any pets. Living in a very tiny space just isn't fair to the critters. I also have disabilities that often don't allow me to even go outside for days or weeks. Thanks to family and friends with pets, I can still get my critter fix!

Get an medical assistant animal. Talk to your doctor do some research. It is not a pet if you need your dog fo medical or emotional support, depending on the laws in your state.

What a legend. He's such a great dog. Huge huge props to the organisation that fought to have these beautiful animals released. Because I agree. Every dog deserves a chance. To live happily and to be loved. 🇦🇺🥰

So proud to finally see that Pitty's are being recognized as great, smart dogs that they are! I am not 1 but surprised. I had my pitty Prince for 14yrs. I know the stigma that this breed of dog gets. I am so proud to hear Hansel's story!

It's so true. Pitbull breeds are wonderful companions to all, and very eager to learn to please their people. They are as loving, kind, and patient as any other breed if they aren't trained and conditioned to behave otherwise. Just like any other breed can be as well. Bad humans create bad dogs by failing them. No dog of any breed is born bad.

Hansel's an outright hero. Its awesome to see how he is lucky and that he is proving that its not the breed that determines the dogs behavior its the owner that determines the dogs behavior.
