Absolutely agree 100000% I had a really sad experience between a neighborhood cat and a poor, helpless baby chipmunk. It was my fault because this big male cat kept digging, trying to get to something I couldn't see, but i could hear this loud chirping sound. So when I went to look and move the big object in the way, this baby chipmunk ran out and the cat caught it. The cat was so fast as I tried to run after it to get the helpless chipmunk. I could hear the cries of the creature, but I couldn't do anything about it. I sobbed and cried so hard that day. Maybe if I had tried to distract the cat enough or even attempted to grab the cat and put him in my house, maybe I could have saved the baby chipmunk somehow.

I rescued a baby field mouse and named him Whiskers. I set him up in a large tank with a little cabin that he'd hoard his sunflower seeds in and sleep under. I swear he acted like a little dog and would come out when I called his name and just run in circles happy. Whiskers passed a few years ago but lived a total of 9 yrs and was an absolute light every single one. All life has a spark of the Divine and therefore is precious and to be cherished. 🐭❤️

This IS A REAL MAN. Real men save animals. They do not trophy hunt, or kill just to kill. I love this story. My dad God rest his soul...saved everyone (meaning animals) my lil bro who is now in his 30s took apart his entire chimney last spring to rescue a momma squirrel and her children. Men don't have to kill to be big manly men. It's the men who have compassion for all life who are the most manly of them all!❤

What a wonderful story. Tiny, fragile baby mouse is discovered by a big, strong human with a huge heart. He saves the wee creature and they enrich each others lives. It doesn't get any better than that.

I remember when I was 14 yrs old my cat was trying to kill a mouse and ended up injuring the mouse and it was only 3 weeks old!!! I took her in and named her "Mouny" and helped her heal. I feed her, made sure her leg was healing. Once she was healed I let her go, 4 days later she came back to thank me. Molly's story is so inspiring.🥰

Amen to that! I even save spiders! I even had one that lived amongst all my 80+ plants that are in semi hydroponic inside my house. She never moved anywhere and stayed in the corner in the window. She was a good little spider and I named her Elvira . The only thing I have a hard time saving is roaches, but even they are pets to some people😂❤ ❤❤

I agree. I rarely kill anything. I had a scorpion in my kitchen and I caught it and released it a couple miles from my home, and I get lots of mice in my home, I get rattlesnakes in my yard and just leave them be, and I catch at least 40 mice every year and let them go. everyone else I know sets kill traps, But I use a small cage trap. one of my neighbors brags about how many squirrels He has killed, He uses a cage trap to catch them, then He dips the cage into the river that is just down the road, and drowns every one of the squirrels He catches, He has killed at least 30 that I know of, what a JERK! Good People respect all living things.
