As a 41 year old liverpool supporter can truly say Jurgen Klopp is the best manager I have ever seen manage my club. What about saying it’s “my understanding that the players found out this morning”? It’s widely reported that the playing and coaching staff were told in November. So it’s clearly not affecting anyone and makes sense that they have already rallied and this is in effect.

If Gerrard was appointed it would be the same result as when Shearer was given the reigns at Newcastle.

Tbf Fergie couldn't leave anything- he *was* Man Utd. Tell me Pep could make below average players like Fletcher or Fortune look world class. You simply can't pass on that magic. Disagree. Klopp is leaving them in the same position, if not worse than Fergie did his team.. Salah, Robertson, Allison and VVD are in their 30s. So where Rio, Rooney, Carrick and RVP. Fergie also left Chicharito, a young Danny Welbeck, Nani in his prime and the Da Silva twins to Moyes who mismanaged them, they were sold on in surprisingly dismissive fashion by Van Gaal. Liverpool's squad looks ok but take the World class players and Klopp out and you'll struggle to see the foundation of a title winning team. Liverpool won't be challenging for anything unless those top players are replaced in the next year or so, which is extremely unlikely.

This is a hangover from last year. As he said he was so focused on rebuilding the team this season that he knew he didn't have it in for the following season. Klopp explained the timing. He explained that the club, the players, and the fans deserved the truth. In other positions, jobs, and sports a manager so connected to a club the way Klopp is to Liverpool, he would be allowed to continue giving it only 80%. And Klopp doesn't want to leave. But he knows it's right be cause he knows the club deserve to have someone able to give it everything all the time. Have to respect that.

Absolutely no to Gerrard. The biggest qualitiy of Klopp was his connection to the players - how he was there for them, there to improve them and help them develop and grow. The best example is the video of Alison meeting Klopp for the first time. Alison is almost blushing like a teenager who's met his crush. Gerrard, god bless him, was a player who expected everyone else to be as good as he was. It worked for him as a player because it drove him. But it's not what we need

Sad news today ,with Jurgen Klopp to leave in june 2024.This very strange Jurgen Klopp 56 years of age loves it here at Liverpool even his wife Loves it here,we are in all 4 competitions going very well ,Klopps contract is up in two years time when he would have been here 10 years by 2026.With todays announcement it has knocked every one who supports Liverpool for six,apparently the players were told in NOVEMBER 2023. What is even more suspicious is Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz and Victor Matos are all leaving as well that is all the back room staff. why would you blow all this out of the water with only two years to go .Klopp i respect him and think this is a black day for LFC Jurgen would not say a bad word about the club even if it was about our owners ,i honestly believe Klopp has not been supported by our owners in all the time he has been here as manager he has always had to balance the books ie sell olayers to pay for players i think he was exspecting a bit of money to finish rebuilding his new team with a few players to come in this January but as we all know year after year we look at all the players that are linked with LFC and more times than not like this January we will not receive any .I think Jurgen has asked for some cash this transfer window and been told the same story no cash is available and i think this is the real reason for Klopp not to keep trying to get blood out of stones . I think there has been a major bust up with owners and klopp and all the back room staff have had enough .Has any one else had the same feelings .

He might make a good assisstant couch so he can learn but even that's a push imo as he's shown his man management skills aren't up to it yet. Either way if Liverpool have known since November, there's only one reason it's come out now & that's because they're looking to start approaching the potential candidates & they wouldn't be able to keep it secret any longer. There's only two current managers, neither of whom are available, who could take the job & not be in Klopp's shadow & that's Guardiola & Ancellotti. As it stands, Alonso, De Zerbi & Amorim are possibilities but none are even close to Klopp so they'll need between 2-4 years to get up to speed, even if they are the real deal & the right man for the job. This is most likeky going to be really tough for Liverpool for the next few years & a huge transition.
