I’m a united fan, I genuinely so upset by this, I truly feel for Ten Hag, because the things he was doing were good for the club. Yes, work is needed on coaching, but I believe it’s the players who are the poison and simply won’t do what they don’t want. We know he can coach given what he did at Ajax. We needed a united front to hammer home the discipline he has been painstakingly implementing so these players recognise they’re not the all important part. I want to like my club, not win at all costs. There are so many dislikable players in the squad, they need to go and then we look at what the manager is doing.

@@jamesk3784 as people grow up they realise how their behaviour wasn’t reasonable at times. While it’s his job to build relationships, that doesn’t mean it’s at the cost of setting clear boundaries and standards. Attitude is everything, we only have a few players with the right attitude and most of them unfortunately aren’t good enough. Pep isn’t pussy-footing around players, he demands, but he’s of course a better coach and also bought better quality. There is work to do, I’m not saying Ten Hag is the messiah, but he’s got the right attitude when it comes to standards and is the only one setting them without fail. We need that right now, we need a clear out of players, I believe Ten Hag has integrity and would have slowly got the culture back.

The facts are he scored 30 goals, including a goal in a final and was one of the most important players in the team. How many managers do United have to sack before they realize building a team around Rashford is not the solution? Rashford will be playing under his 6th manager at United (8 if you include Giggs and Carrick). And the even crazier thing is he still has 4 years remaining on a contract paying him over 350K per week when he can’t be bothered to actually put in any effort. In all seriousness, United’s hierarchy do not appear to realize at all that their transfer policy of signing players to ridiculously long contracts on massive wages is undermining manager after manager at the club.

Evans played for us in a previous life. Garnacho played a few minutes under Rangnick. And have play the right brand of football on top of that, and to have improved every club he ever worked at, look what he did with Espanyol, Soton, and Spurs, look at them before & after. Bet John wishes he'd watched the final now! I agree with much of what he said about the managerial merry-go-round, but no genuine fan of a football club would say they're deliberately not watching them in a cup final, or are going to stop supporting them altogether. This is why so many people mock a lot of United fans. We have to stop acting entitled. Liverpool fell away in the 90s, and did a load of their fans say they'd had enough and walk away? I seriously doubt it. Besides, it's quite funny to consider that ETH has won more trophies than Klopp since he arrived at OT.

The squad design of Manchester United is so bad. On almost all of the positions the substitute has a different playing profiles compared to the starter. With the injuries some players are suited for deep defense counter attack style. And some other players suited for positional play, energetic, high defense line. Last year the lack of injuries covered the squad issue's. Sacking EtH will make this problem only bigger...

It really is wild nobody points out the obvious problem at United…. The players, how many managers has that group gotten sacked? That club is never going to be alongside City and Liverpool until they get rid of the entire dressing room and bring in talented hungry and hard working players
