Your Health is more Important than anything else, you only need that one reason to move. Barbados isnt perfect and there will be ups and downs but I'm sure you will be ok.. For me food and weather would be reasons to move. Good luck on a new phase in your life.

As a personal trainer and nutritionist one of my clients was diagnosed with lupus. I put her on a Alkaline diet and drank only coconut water. After 6 months she came off the meds lost 50lbs and is feeling better. Good luck to you and how you adapt to your new inviorment.sunny Barbados.

Thank you for watching and sharing your experiences with me. 🥰I do try to follow an alkaline diet as much as possible and drink mainly water with organic lemon, coconut water, so I have to thank you for sharing your clients success which makes me know I am going in the right direction! I have found for me it’s about the diet as you say, drink lots of water, exercise to reduce inflammation and cut out stress! The warm weather is helping a lot, I don’t feel painful joints as much now! Thanks again. 😊

Good luck, just come with realistic expectations. Barbados is still a developing country vacationing, and living in Barbados is quite different.

Barbados is still a developing country, are you serious, Barbados is more developed than many of it Caricom neighbors, even since the 80s. Anymore development I feel would destroy the balance and beauty, I've been there during the 80s and 90s and 2000s.

@Who Me Barbados would be more developed compared to some of its Caricom neighbours. However, Barbados is still a developing country, especially for someone moving from a country such as the UK (developed country). Several things in Barbados remain quite antiquated, from layers of beauracracy, no reliable bus schedules, poor roads, and power cuts.

Thank you.🙂 You can turn off water, gas etc. Your consumption goes down if you are not in the house. So your bill should be lower. Unplug everything except fridge freezer. Hope that helps ☀️🏝️Enjoy your time when you come.🇧🇧
