The Mystical city of God by Venerable Mary of Agreda, The Glories of Mary by St.Alphonsus Liguori, and Marian Apparitions of the 20th Century.

This is my new favourite channel! I absolutely adore you two! Thanks for being such a nice positive channel. I love the book recommendations and thrift hauls.

Great idea for the month of Mary. She has been wonderful since my own mother's death. I talk to both my mom and Mary as if they are with me during my daily tasks. Thank you for the wonderful book suggestions 😊

My husband and I are always trying to find out more about the beautiful images of Mary we see on the many Rosary videos we pray along with on YT. I am so glad you mentioned the book "Miraculous Images of Our Lady" because it is exactly what we needed! I found a used copy online and look forward to receiving it. @@littlethimblehalffull Yes I love that channel, I feel it really deepens my experience of the rosary with all the beautiful art and music. I also love Fr. Scanlon and Dana, with her lovely voice singing between the decades, and Fr. Scanlon has such a pleasing voice, and meditations for each decade.

Beautiful selections, thank you for the recommendations. I’m currently reading well listening through audiobook The Life of Mary as Seen by the Mystics it’s simply beautiful ❤ I will recommend The Secret of the Rosary and The Passion of Christ Through the Eyes of Mary 😊

Thank you for adding to my TBR. Our Lady Book by Fr. Xavier Lasance is a favourite. At the end of each chapter are more suggested book titles regarding Mary. Prayers for oneself and/or the holy souls. The Glories of Mary by Di Liguori where at the end of each chapter is an example of Mary saving a soul is just riveting!

I don't know if you have ever heard of the Jewish Professor ,Roy Schoman 's conversion story. This man came to our church and told his story. So inspirational and fascinating !Was a very long talk but soo good. He is on KZread telling his story Part 1 and Part 2. He also sells a book telling what happened. If you have never heard his story and you have a lot of time some day I do recommend that you Ladies watch it you will also be moved I am sure. He now lives in Florida.

Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful books about Blessed Mother, I will look into them. The only one I had heard of was the last one. Here is one that I will add: "Our Lady of Kibeho", by Immaculee Ilibagiza. Immaculee wrote about how she survived the horrible genocide in Rwanda in her riveting first book, "Left To Tell". In "Our Lady of Kibeho", she tells the story of Our Lady's apparitions in the 1980's, to several schoolgirls in Kibeho, Rwanda. It is an amazing story about one of Our Lady's more recent ( church approved) apparitions.

I LOVE this list! What is the title of the book right after the Dollar Tree book? The artwork you shared is beautiful. I wish roadside shrines would come back. We've discussed making for Jesus at our place. I think it is a beautiful way to evangelize.

Yes- we would also love to see roadside shrines make a big come back! That book is "Saints Who Saw Mary" by Raphael Brown

I love all the books you shared, but I have never seen any books like the one you got at the Dollar Tree 😯I tried to find your book (Saints who saw Mary) I saw on Amazon and Wal Mart (both have a reprint Jan. 1 1994) I'm glad because I would love to be able to get it. Thank you for sharing these I would love to hear if there are other Mary books you would recommend 💜🙏

@@catholicmomanddaughter Yes, the ice should be breaking up & moving this week or next. All the ice on the beach edge has melted. It's usually so exciting as people gather along the banks to watch. Sometimes we see a moose riding down on a sheet of ice because it couldn't make it to the shore in time. The river water rises & completely covers our natural spring water hole so we're not able to get spring water until the water level goes down. Then logging will start as people go on the river to get all the logs floating by. Most people have wood stoves to heat their homes because heating fuel is so expensive since it's barged in.

@@catholicmomanddaughter It's exciting & very sad to see the moose going by on the ice since it probably won't survive as the current is too swift & strong. I think only once we saw a bear go by. I will miss it & all the aspects of village life. Especially harvesting the salmon & all varieties of tundra berries.

Got a used version of The Life of Mary as Seen by the Mystics... and 😅 thing happened... The USED book has markings (ai dont mind markings) but soooo many personal notes from the person who read it. She used it diary style of things that happened to her. Not sure if I will get bwmetter a new copy and bless and ditch this one or what. I have bought used books before but this time, yikes. 😅 Has this ever happened to you? What did you do? What would you do? 😅

That is such a bummer, Lena, but yes- we have definitely had that happen before. Once we bought a book described as in "very good" condition, but when it arrived, part of the front cover was missing, there was a large hole in the back cover, the book was musty, and there was a sticker on it that said "acceptable". It was so bad that we emailed the online seller (it was a large online book resale site), and we received a refund (this site is has very good costumer service). It is not wrong to expect the book to be in decent condition.

I'm currently reading "Come to Mary's House" by Shawn Chapman Our women's Bible study group Fiat Sisters pairs this with our study "Stories of Grace" It gives you an intimate relationship/view of our Blessed Mother.

I have a book you Ladies might like to read. This is a true story that happened in Barre Mass. My husband and I went there today, but you really have to see this view from a plane, but the story is facinating. It is called God's Wisdom The Cross The Ten Commandments On Earth. A beautiful story that happened to John P. Harty. It is online the story and a picture of the Giant cross on the ground with the Ten Commandments on it. Jesus, told him to build it and size should be 200 feet long 25 feet wide. etc. Very interesting.

The book goes into detail about what Mary and Jesus knew about Judas, how they felt about him, and how they treated him. Definitely worth reading!
