I agree with every point except hand stand walk as in the beginning I kept moving and could not hold my position. But that walk or movement teaches me how to balance my body as well as strengthen my arms. Now I still move but very little and often hold it for 10 second still

I love handstand walks. I’m not good at them yet. But I’ve learned to kick up and hold a handstand consistently and for good time already.

I disagree with all of this..instead of focusing on strict, regimented techniques. Incorporating fluidity of movement creates dynamism in controlling your body, far more than techniques that place alot of movements in the bad pile. Essentially, no movement is bad if performed progressively and Infact will increase range of motion, power, and all that good shit. Don't be dogmatic in any one approach.

The same title of the video says everything: "Avoid when Starting Calisthenics". If you're a beginner, you don't know what to do and you see everything in the Internet thinking that you can do it and trying out you do an exercise with bad technique/form later on you will not be able to progress or unlearn the bad habits that can cause mayor problems in your health and your goals. Making dynamism doesn't contribute to your muscle more than the same exercise in a small motion manner with good form because dynamism is made after you've mastered the good form and you're taking it with more risks and explosivity with is impossible to get without already have the strenght and speed of training with good form. Btw, for explosive/dynamic exercises there isn't always the cases where you use your full range of motion, even more, they aren't necessary most of the time because making it will all the range will make it harder and some times not good looking. I'm gonna show you the examples shown in the video: 1) Kipping Pullups, kipping your legs are not required to make a pullup but if you want to progress to something more advanced then making a slow pullup will be impossible because you'll try to make an explosive one and your back/biceps will not carry on that technique, meanwhile if you train strict pullups touching chest-to-bar you'll be able to make explosive pullups, muscle-ups and even more without needing of extra speed. 2) Back to wall handstand pushups, if you're starting you'll never make this one with good form and as said in the video you have a lot of risks in term of shoulder and even more wrist. Meanwhile the pike pushups work almost the same muscles without that much risk and you're in control. 3) Superman push ups, the risk of falling and having a wrist dislocation is high and if you're starting you'll not even know how you're looking while doing the exercise so you'll probably just making impulse to make it through. If you add bands and you don't jump you'll make a harder variation of the exercise without engage the wrists. 4) Sit ups, you have to test it by yourself, it's simply bad for your lumbars, just do crunches and many more variants that only focus on the abs instead of iliopsoas and more unnecesary muscles you don't want to work on. 5) Handstand walks, do I have to explain why a beginner shouldn't try that? They doesn't know how to fall and how to maintain the form, so they aren't working properly for harder variants or muscle growth. If you want to start in something you have to do slow stuff that you don't want to but they will serve for complex stuff in the future and not compromise your health and strenght.
