Having a commentator who actually competed in the highest level of the sport should be mandatory. I wanna hear more insights like how an aggressive defense can be an effective offense. The progression of the sport and the popularity of underhooks. Think at one point he was just rambling on about the philosophy of the sport. Loved it. Also the one ad I remember hearing was for wrestling mats. Felt appropriate. I appreciate that.

@@tonycook8299 John should retire from coaching and go into full time commentary. His coaching skills are shot and the top guys don't want to wrestle for him anymore, they all want to wrestle for Cael. OSU should go ahead and make Coleman Scott the head coach. Yeah, everybody would still want to wrestle for Cael, but at least Coleman has the energy to be the coach of a top D1 school.

Awesome this could get posted. I was disappointed when half the matches were posted because I wanted to see the d3 champion vs the d2 champ. Now that the whole thing is here, I can say it lived up to the hype! Both wrestlers showed that the better of their division can hang with D1. Great event overall!

Watching that first women's match, Petzinger vs Chavez, was painful. I felt like Chaves was just doing potentially dangerous moves. The shoulder pop to start, the next takedown she was cranking petzingers knee sideways. I get that those are not penalties, but potentially dangerous doesn't have to be a penalty. That ref let that shoulder go entirely too far.

1 take down (basically his only true shot) all he did was stall and counter the rest of the time. (This is coming from an OK st fan so I’m not a hater) at least 1 more stall call was needed. I think if He does the same at ncaa’s i assume he will be hit more. He is such a great wrestler when he gets his offense going.

College wrestlers don’t do old style moves anymore the under arm spin arm drags bar arms not many cradles or sit outs or granby. Rolls the sport is one guy shooting a single leg and the other guy grabs a ankle it needs a vast improvement not just a three point takedown that’s like a crocodile grabbing elephants tail it’s just annoys the elephant if you want to make the sport exciting throw in a period of sumo Greco throws cheap tilts and push outs and make the sport exciting points for judo throws too otherwise it will remain kind of drab
