Jason Nolf still one of the most fun wrestlers to watch his style is one of a kind truly and I don't think freestyle could ever show off his scrambling ability

@@gregoryderosa8045 I vastly prefer folk, honestly. I find free to be pretty boring in comparison, but it's the only way you get to see the rest of the world. The only thing's I'd take from freestyle are the pushout rule, and that they're quicker to call the stick, which I like.
I like Jason’s displays of sportsmanship! I watched him in college. He displayed the same humble confidence, then, too! Congratulations Jason!

The Ferrari's & Mocco's etc. of the wrestling world can learn a lot from Nolf in more ways than one.
Nolf just never stops attacking. It’s that Penn State terminator-style and his gas tank is incredible!
Got to meet him at Bo Nickals MMA fight in Vegas back at their house. What a nice impressive guy. They all were, ,Bo's whole team. They were playing hoops when we got there. Bo won in 38 seconds. Zero alcohol in the whole house.

Jason- A fabulous grappler and an even better person. We are so, SO proud of our guys ( Jason, Zane, Kyle, David, the list goes on and on... ), AND our Ladies ( Jane, Jennifer, Grace... ). God Bless The NLWC--- Rock On Men!!!
He’s a monster and absolutely dominated everyone. A pin in the worlds semis is crazy. And it seems to me he works everyone and he comes in the 2nd period a different animal.

Years of folkstyle training came in handy. Front headlock to a lateral drop is not something a lot of freestylers see or know how to defend.

This is Not the World Championships... Still, Nolf is very impressive.
Jason Nolf is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE collegete wrestler. Bo Nichels, right behind him. I'm SO IMPRESSED with both Nolf and Nichols, on and off the mat. They are a forever credit to this sport.
@rogerodle8750

Impressed with Bo? You spelled his name two different ways in your comment -- both wrong.
Good stuff. His pace and conditioning are where he's really a level above his opponents. They can defend the leg attacks early on but when J is still coming just as hard in the second half of the match, the gap becomes obvious. He's a tough guy to wrestle, that's for sure.

You can really see the other wrestlers were gassed. Nolf!
Nolf hit that cow catcher in the semis!’ As Tom brands would say we love it!
JN watched him all through his PS career. What a talent. And he continues to improve. Amazing wrestler, congrats Bro.
Jason's cardio is amazing , relentless attacks on the BUL Ram guy
Nolf could very well win the Spot for the Olympics. Dude is the Real Deal !

So crisp and fast! Wow!
What a great competitor! Congrats Jason Nolf and NLWC.
Nolf looking unstoppable!!!
several of those opponents were really gassed and Nolf took advantage
Really love how both wrestlers are going hard, trying stuff etc (at least through the quarters where I'm at) - Nolf is whupping some great wrestlers, but they're giving a wonderful effort and aren't showing fear.

As far as the not showing fear part, I’m just now watching the first match and that guy from Venezuela has probably a lot more he’s overcame back home than we did as Americans. A simple wrestling match shouldn’t scare him ya know what I mean

Man that would be tough wrestling in a big building with almost no spectators, heck they probably have more people in practice than that meet, but super wrestling and congrats to Jason Nolf for an outstanding meet!
I thought this video was sped up when it started . I went back to the beginning to watch that again. That was the Cael head and wrist to ankle serious done well

All gas no brakes with Nolf. It's always fun to watch someone who never stalls.
You got whooped. Don't challenge as some sort of Hail Mary. Show some class. Fun to watch, Nolf.
Over the next 10 years it appears a large majority of USA wrestlers will be former PSU wrestlers. Along with all who have completed scholastic eligibility moving to state college to train with NLWC.

Penn State was years ago, but you still look like the Jason Nolf who was unbeatable and won those NCAA titles.
Go get ‘em Jason. Beast.
His hardest opponent has always been his knee injuries. If the guy can stay healthy he can compete with anyone.
Nolf just worked all those guys. Even the final with the Iranian. He got completely worked.
Jason Nolf is my favorite wrestler, EVER.
Very impressive Mr. Nolf
Awesome!! 🇺🇸
I think that after Kyle Dake got so completely dismantled at the Tokyo Olympics 11-0 Jason Nolf is now our best candidate at 74KG to compete with guys like Sidakov. If a match comes down to strength and endurance Dake has a chance. If a match comes down to speed and technique we need guys like Nolf. Burroughs used to have that level of speed but his shattered ankle during covid training took that edge away. Even Dake beat him on the run for Tokyo and that never happened in the decade prior.
I like how he finished deep or quick. Sometimes his length would get him in trouble if he got stuck underneath and got leg lifted. Not here. Great job.
Wow Nolf!! Congratulations! Freaking Hammer
Nolf is ridiculously quick.

It’s a shame Nolfy will be sitting home watching Kyle Dake win an Olympic Gold Medal this summer.
why does it seem like the announcer for the finals match has never watched wrestling before
Nolf's opponents ran out of steam. It's a problem that has to be avoided, although I don't know how.

@@brendan638 I honestly would be surprised if nolf beat Burroughs even if he’s lost a step.
Nolf still shows Dake way too much respect. When Dake got dismantled 11-0 in Tokyo people realized he had a very limited skillset. If strength and endurance are what it takes to win a match then Dake will typically win. If it comes down to speed he's toast. If it comes down to skill he's toast. Burroughs used his speed to beat the poor guy for a decade. Now Sidakov uses his skill to easily win. If Nolf watched a fraction of the video that Dake studied for a decade he would see that his speed and skill are already far superior to Dake's.
Uh, oh Kyle Dake
Amazing performance, but the real gold belongs to the finals commentator..
Now Nolf just needs to work on his hollywood tan
The US is loaded at 74kg.....change rules....take 3 wrestlers each wt to Olympics.....like Track and field, like swimming....US loaded at every wt.
23:26
Nolf is a different aminal rn he will be beat dake mark my words!!
For us non-wrestlers stopping by, what's with all the waiting and walking around?
Nolf needs to be the man in Paris!!! Kyle Dake missed his window and will never earn an Olympic gold thanks to Burroughs crushing the poor guy for a full decade. If Nolf can turn his superior speed and technique into points the way Burroughs did for so long he will be unstoppable.
