@@gregoryderosa8045 I vastly prefer folk, honestly. I find free to be pretty boring in comparison, but it's the only way you get to see the rest of the world. The only thing's I'd take from freestyle are the pushout rule, and that they're quicker to call the stick, which I like.

Good stuff. His pace and conditioning are where he's really a level above his opponents. They can defend the leg attacks early on but when J is still coming just as hard in the second half of the match, the gap becomes obvious. He's a tough guy to wrestle, that's for sure.

I think that after Kyle Dake got so completely dismantled at the Tokyo Olympics 11-0 Jason Nolf is now our best candidate at 74KG to compete with guys like Sidakov. If a match comes down to strength and endurance Dake has a chance. If a match comes down to speed and technique we need guys like Nolf. Burroughs used to have that level of speed but his shattered ankle during covid training took that edge away. Even Dake beat him on the run for Tokyo and that never happened in the decade prior.

Nolf still shows Dake way too much respect. When Dake got dismantled 11-0 in Tokyo people realized he had a very limited skillset. If strength and endurance are what it takes to win a match then Dake will typically win. If it comes down to speed he's toast. If it comes down to skill he's toast. Burroughs used his speed to beat the poor guy for a decade. Now Sidakov uses his skill to easily win. If Nolf watched a fraction of the video that Dake studied for a decade he would see that his speed and skill are already far superior to Dake's.
