Hensen DEFINITELY got robbed out of the three count for danger. Slow-ass ref started to commence to begin counting way late. The replay on their screen had to have shown it. I'm from Idaho and am a huge fan of Lovett. Aside from the blatantly obvious danger count, in this match, Hensen made great adjustments along the way and had Lovett's number. Great job, Hensen!!!

If it were up to me: all NCAA championships would be held in nfl size stadiums. These guys have wrestled in arenas for their entire life and because of that, I think they deserve a more grandiose national tournament. Of course the year that was going to happen in got cancelled.

Never seen Orine in action but that dude almost started a fight. After I was pinned, my opponent started that tongue while getting up. Didn't know what it represented but I was mad about it.

Great Tournament. 125 is wildcard this year. 141 and 149 delivered. 157 Freshmen Shapiro and Chitum will learn from this. 165 Carr like many will need to give up going for reversal, vs getting a quick 1 then go for 3. (I thought he had backpoints) Like a champ he bounced back and took 3rd. Hidlay is tank. I do love an underhook series. It's hard to belief he ever was an 184. To bad he went up the same year Brooks did. Batista is the real deal at HWY. Davison is real good too. that exchange at the end of the 2nd period wow. I know both were at 197, man this HWY wrestle like middleweights.

at 24:05 when kai does that tongue thing. it looks like it is from the "haka". a ceremonial war dance of the Maori people. they are the indigenous people of new zealand. new zealand sports teams famously do the haka before big competitions. the new zealand national rugby team have been the most dominant in the world for years. they are known for doing the haka before games. here's a short clip: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hn1tlbuBea-5l84.html

The mats are too small. So many intense moments called off because the edge is only 3 feet from the ring.

Teemer sucks at hand fighting. He's a defensive counter wrestler, but when you're getting bullied in the ties, you're not going to be in good position for those reattacks.

yeah his feet were moving backwards almost the entire time. something i always wondered though. why do people call it a re-attack, when it's a counterattack? a re-attack would be firing off a shot that's stopped and then attacking again; the same guy attacking both times.

@@user-yn1sf9mq3z Just rolls off the tongue better and keeps that "attack style mindset" going. Counter might be the more accurate word to use, but I don't think it matters. Language is just a vessel that carries thought; being understood is all that matters.

@@WorkHarder-id8zd exactly which is why re-attack is misleading. our coach called it shot - shot and shot - counter when we drilled, so re-attack to me is more like shot - shot. but, like you said, it's not a big deal. if i see the action i don't need to listen to the announcer.

I dont know if im just getting old and tired of this kind of wrestling but i stopped watching after the 125 match 1st period, this is ridiculous, these guys were wrestling like heavyweights, really no shots taken after 3 minutes thats embarrassing, how many of us go to tournaments and are bored out of our mind when we see no action, how in the world is our sport supposed to grow when normal people who just happen to scroll to our channel see the weights that are supposed to be shooting, nope they and we see 3 minutes of figuring there opponent out, this kind of wrestling is horrible and horrible to watch, wrestling is going to die if we dont as fans and spectators dont demand more, i mean really is this what big college programs are teaching at practice, trying to figure out your opponent then why are they wrestling like this, these wrestlers will never ever be remembered shortly after there careers are over, kolat will be remembered for a very long time and he won what 1 time in the ncaa?

@@WorkHarder-id8zd I’m a fan but can u imagine someone who doesn’t know anything about wrestling and this is the match that they see, um boring, 3 minutes and no shots taken that’s a joke, i shouldn’t have to waste my time watching the whole dang thing to look for some real wrestling aka takedowns
