Nathan Desmond and Bo basset are two kids me and my son have always seen on top of podiums all over Desmond won war at shore bumping up a entire weight class when most cut down 2 classes .....studs I'm so glad to see these boys out here doing it ....I'm from MD....son had to wrestle Desmond Jr terps vs Pa gold....Desmond is a technician Bo is all that and brute force props to Both and all of these kids

Bo was on a mission and the commitment from Knox going to Cornell is huge.

Knox is way too cocky and too much of a showman. Last time I saw someone like that from Jersey was Suriano. They both went to Catholic schools too!

@@retroguy9494I don't know, he seems humble enough to me. Also, Nick Suriano is a beast of a wrestler and he's untamable. He's an odd personality for sure, but he also believes in himself so completely that you can't help but be on his side as well.

Yup, and Cornell's HC is NJ legend Mike Grey who was a four-time state champ and only lost two matches, both at the brutal Beast of the East tourney his senior year. Knox destroyed everyone in his path last weekend at States which is held in Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk Hall. He TF'd(19-4) his first opponent in a crazy 55 seconds which just blows my mind. It was like watching a seasoned college wrestler going against high school kids....just an incredible talent who is VERY driven.

I think Catrabone's corner messed him up. He should have cut Miller right after the time runoff. He had momentum.

Knox feels like the next Suriano. The same amount of talent and drive. Except he’ll hopefully remain at Cornell.

ranger pride used to come out to our club sometimes. this was 2015 - 2016. one large practice, all the coaches picked a kid who they thought was the hardest worker. i picked melvin miller. he really impressed me as a young kid. i'm glad he's still doing well.

nathan desmond and anthony knox are so tough, insane how stacked that bracket was i know a guy in that bracket cameron stinson the best wrestler in the history of north carolina, he went 205-0 in high school undefeated and unchallenged, as well as the nicest guy i’ve ever met always supported me never cocky or mean just such and awesome guy and he didn’t even place at this tournament which shows the level of this bracket and the fact that anthony had all techs and two majors on a guy like keanu dillard and desmond which is insane! these guys are so good and i can’t wait to watch them in college and i hope i can get to their level

Can’t wait for the Araujo college years. Both LJ and Julia are natural born champions. Watch for these two in the next couple years… you won’t be disappointed!

they think it will force more action, but i don't think it will. i've heard a few arguments for it. some people think if a guy gets hit with a big move early, the 3 point takedown keeps him in the match. i think a lot of people just hate mat wrestling and don't understand that's what makes folkstyle a unique style.

i used to rollerblade to school. all uphill, w/ green booties & purple helmet. got my quads & calves monstrous. hit sick grinds on the curbs, but always ate it in front of the cheerleaders. traffic jams wanted none of my smoke.
