Every time I see Dr. Barbara Bubbles I just cannot believe someone would throw that cat out. She is so cuddly and affectionate. Look at that face! Just look at those baby cheeks and that frickin' cute face! That cat deserves all the love in the world

Agree. To throw outside or plan to euthanize a cat with a treatable malady is sickening. She looks like a sweetheart. I am too far away to adopt her.

My suggestions for the Screamies: most unhinged screaming, most wanting pets, most don’t touch me but love me… from afar, most scrungly, least problematic, most yo-yo. Hope that at least one of those makes it!

It's always the sad with the happy. We never forget a cat we lose, but it's so rewarding seeing a cat adopted and having a good life. For my category nomination: The best "not my day with the brain cell" moment.

A pregnant feral mama was fostered by an unknown person in New York City working with a shelter. We adopted two of her tuxedo girls. They live a life of feline luxury instead of being on the mean streets. The mama was spayed and released. The kittens are now rather large .. not chonky. ….ten year old luxury cats. Thank you for your work.

There should be a "best name" or "most (in)appropriately named kitten" award. I really like the names you give those little fluffballs and other people hate them. So ... let us vote 😉

I had a very... Rough year in December last year. The very day after Christmas, my mother had passed away, and ever since then, I had been in a funk. Not helping matters has been some massive family drama that's been threatening to become a full blown family feud. But these videos, especially those concerning King Figaro The Biscuit King, have been putting me in a much better mood, or putting life in better perspective. If I could, I'd give you a big hug.

I'll tell you a cat story from my year.. a stray kitty came to our door last year (2023) that cried outside everynight. I could tell they were a juvenile, scrawny, dirty and scared. I started feeding them daily unfortunately I couldn't get NEAR them, I named them Charlie (figured it was a good boy or girl name) and about a month later I borrowed a trap. Got them down to the clinic for neuturing and shots and brought him back home. Took me months just to even touch him let alone pet but we finally got there and now I've got the biggest, fluffiest most loving boy i could ask for! Ty Mary for all you do you really are an inspiration ❤

I'm new here... and my world **DOES** revolve around you... well... and my three kitten-babies. 🥹 On 10/1/23, I parented zero (0) kittens. I picked up Philip Xavier on 10/3 from his foster momma, and this semi-feral king literally has saved my life. He's a cuddly jerk and naps in a baby sling that I wear while I work. On 9/16, Paxon (aka Sir PaxyWaxy Fartsalot) joined us and Philip is the best momma he could ever be. 🥹 On 12/26/23, my third (3) kitten joined my other two boys. She is my grandkitty that needed to come to a more hospitable living situation. In just over a year I'm a "crazy cat lady" and I've never been more content. Since the Universal Cat Distribution System has epically blessed me... it's probably a good thing that I live in Oregon. If not... I'd prob be on your doorstep begging to cuddle those baybayies. 😻

I sobbed the morning that Mary posted the video about her sudden passing. Things were looking so hopeful for Foxy after her visit to the specialist. Of all the kittens Mary has helped, Foxy touched me the most.

Dr Barbara Bubbles is such a sweet sweet gal. Even the ailment she has sounds adorable (though I know it’s not adorable; it’s painful). Glad she’s getting better! Love this channel.

I love all cats unconditionally, but original forest cat tabbies are really something!

This gives me so much hope and inspiration. I just started catch and release in my neighborhood. 2 so far, now I have 2 more cats lol Our local spca (Delaware) does it for 35.00, but they have or had a grant so its free! I still donate though. But they just came right in and get along with everyone. I think they were used to seeing each other out the window. Bad weather they would be looking in the back door or even getting in through a "patched" window. But they'd run at first 💔 So far no kittens, the first I caught has been the only female so far. Lots of males around though! I just wish I'd noticed sooner, and realized I CAN help 😌 I'm setting up my back deck for them, if they'll stay. Lots of straw and my old hot tub I'm making into a place for them to hide under. Long term I want Lots of things for them to play with put there, and for the inside ones too. It's a great distraction when advocating gets tough, cat therapy ❤ I need them as much as they need me.

Was there a necropsy done on Foxy? It felt so sudden. I know it won't help the grief but maybe would give you some answers???

I take care of nine ex street cats.. 3 in my house, 6 in my garage. Fixed em all, got em all heathy, and vaccinated. There’s so many others i CAnt help. I’ve found homes for probably 20 cats or kittens, took in 9.. It’s not enough, I’m drowning. I dream about help from this Saint of a woman. My best friend and neighbor.. he has 15 at the moment. He’s got Asperger’s. His dad had it under control and had two females, (only he could touch) to get fixed when he passed away. Those two females got pregnant and had 8 female kittens ( dam calicos genes). We only need to fix 4 more. 2 girls, 2 boys but I’m worried. If we don’t get at least the girls, it’s gonna be 8 more kittens again. And he can’t take care of 15 cats. I already clean 7 litter boxes a day and love on my 9 cats. I can barely get over to help his. None are sick yet, but like that’s around the corner if I don’t find homes for them. It costs 100$ per cat to give them to shelter too that’s probably just gonna kill them. I’m on the fence but imo i don’t think you should feed street cats if you’re not gonna get them fixed too. 🙏 if you see a cat starving I’m not mad at you for feeding it, but if you care about them in any way shape or form, get them fixed too🙏

I have a very timid boy cat that lived under my bed for 3 weeks, I thought we'd never be friends but it just took him a while so I get her and would have loved to give her a quiet home... is Buffalo close enough and then a few hour drive to Toronto??

Does that mean your PhD... isn't veterinary medicine related? 😮 I don't actually know what education is required to enter vet school so until now I'd assumed the PhD was a necessary part of that journey, but now I'm not so sure! I'm astounded at how dumb some comments are. People harassed you about OB being neutered and ear-tipped when YOU were the one who did that? 😂 HOLY SHIT! That's a LOT of wet food!! 14:00 I support a clinic in Flatbush NY, that does affordable spay neuter for low income and stray kitties!! I send them money every month and it helped them open a permanent clinic. Perhaps a collaboration is in order????

Great stories. Have you tried IV vitamin C for your kitties if needed?

I’m broke to the point of missing meals and since Covid I’ve spent 4k fixing street cats cause I care.. I dream about running a rescue being my job. I’m a non profit right now 😂 I care for 9 ex street cats at the moment all my own broke ass dollar. I’m starving about to apply for food stamps, my dam cats eat friskies by the truck load, get totes, treats😂. It’s funny to me cause I can’t help😂 I didn’t want children I somehow ended up with 9 of the sweetest neediest babies ever. Food vet bills, Covid hit and I didn’t have enough. Then the Stim checks hit and it was a godsend
