I love how she isn’t fully focused on the camera like most vloggers, she actually focuses on the cats then after letting them go looks back to and talks at the camera.

The way you still make a nice dinner after school, vet visits, multi-cat care, homework, etc. I accomplish so much less in an average day and still find excuses not to make real food.🤷‍♀

I will never be able to understand how a person can throw their pet outside to starve. That's what happened to our dog before we adopted him from our local rescue. Its a level of cruelty i cant wven begin to fathom. That girl is so sweet and is so lucky to be in your care. Thank you for being you. ❤

Miss "Not Margie" Looks like a twin to my girl Cassie. We lost Cassie in July to a bizarre fungal infection after 3 very intense days at the emergency/special care Vet. If you happen to see this comment... Maybe "Cassie" would be a nice new name for the sweet girl.

I love that everyone gets along so well and there's no angy babies during feeding time 🥹🥹 such sweet babies!!!

I've lost quite a few fosters since I started in 2017, and while you never get hardened to it, you get better at managing the emotions (I used to tear up when I even just thought of a cat dying). Anyways, I was doing so well watching this video, but for some reason the sentence "We named her Bambi" just yanked the faucet right open and now I'm sitting here crying over this kitten I didn't even know existed until 2 minutes ago 😭. Thank you so much for everything you do for these babies, and thank you for all of the comfort and support you gave Bambi in her final hours.

Brita must be the most beautiful and chill cat ever! I’m so happy she got a chance with you, getting her live-saving treatment and now living her best Brita live!

I don’t understand why people get pets with no intention of taking care of them when they get sick! It’s truly cruel to put them through so much pain, abandon or even kill them just because their illness is inconvenient. I understand treatment can be expensive but if you can’t budget for that, don’t get the animal.

I love how often you are apologizing for not having the best camera work, when what we are getting is a close up of a kitten investigating the camera. I don't know about everyone else, but that looks like PERFECT camera work.

It is so funny, the same moment you said someone is calling you, my mon called me as well. I was watching you on my phone, so it interrupted your video. For a second, it looked like some parallel universe!

I would be watching the accidental chaos of floof balls covering the camera with their fuzzy butts even if the videos were in 144p

This video just made me smile and laugh so thanks for making my day :) You got me into taking the last step and adopting a cat like 8 month ago. She just turned nine years old and is the bestest girl. I always loved cats and had two when I was little. My little goblin queen is pure chaos and I love her for that. Saving her life was hard and my ADHD was not helping but we got through and it was so worth it. Cats are the best.

My cat has a very mild case of pillow foot (or at least that was his vet's best guess?) & he luckily just has the peeling paw pads, not inflamed enough to need anti-biotics/inflammatories, only needs lotion put on his paw pads when they start to "flare up" & get looking dry (cracking from inflammation). He's 17 & still has tons of life in him, plays with bottle caps like a kitten, still very good at grooming so his coat doesn't look "old". Just the pillow foot & some arthritis/lower back pain that is doing pretty good on buprenorphine. He's healthier than I am & a great service cat, telling me when my thyroid is off by laying across my neck, waking me up a few times a week when I fall asleep on the toilet from my muscle relaxers I need for painsomnia, & even kept me awake for 3 hrs this summer so that I was awake & aware when I had a " widows maker" heart attack, enabling me to survive what kills 88% of people affected! He was a shelter kitten, so every kitten you save could be like my little dude, even if they just bring comfort to isolated people, cats are saving lives in many different ways everyday & that's a pretty good impact to have on the world! ❤

I had two kitties with chronic congestion that strangely only popped up when the seasons changed. A round of antibiotics would take care of it for a few months until the next change in season. I got used to keeping a tissue handy to wipe snotty noses.

I have a cat who I also thought was going to be a snotty disaster his entire life. Also did all the testing and scans which came back with nothing. He has an inhaler now which I use a couple of times a week to stop any nose infections and has been snot free ever since! The inhaler is expensive, but it lasts a long time and is 100% worth it

Poor Mama! I've had mastitis multiple times and it is NO fun! Glad she's getting better!

A conscious kitten should not be lying still like that, especially when something new and different is happening in their environment. That's really scary. 😢 20:17 Oh fuuuuck... when an animal pulls its head back like that, it's really bad... 😰 I... didn't realize that intestinal parasites could do that. Like, I knew parasites can kill, but I never really realized how? For her temperature to be 93.4°... and glucose in the 30s... yeah, I'm not super surprised that she didn't make it. Poor baby. 😓 The person trying to euthanize over pillow foot upsets me. When I worked for a vet, I was covering reception for lunch one time and someone came in and asked to make an appointment to euthanize HIS NEIGHBOR'S DOG because it was sick and the neighbor was out of town??? I was like... with all due respect, sir, absolutely not?! The owner needs to be involved??? He insisted I ask the vet, who was horrified and firmly agreed that we weren't going to euthanize a pet without the permission of the owner, and honestly we were going to do an exam first to see what was going on. The guy started YELLING AT ME that the dog was just gonna lie down and die, and I'm just thinking, then WHY aren't you bringing it in for treatment?! The other clients in the waiting room all looked horrified. The dude eventually stormed off and one of the other clients came over and said how absolutely bizarre that was and praised me for how I handled it, as did the vet when I told her that he had left. I really, really don't understand people who jump straight to euthanasia when an animal becomes inconvenient to them. Honestly, that should be grounds for an animal abuse charge.

You take such good care of your fur babies. You will certainly be a very good vet. If I lived in your town I would certainly choose you to be my pet’s vet.🌷

I was also a very snuffy child from 7-35 lol when I finally had a camera put up my nose! I had to get my deviated septum fixed, but I am still a snuffly human, but less sinus infections now

Not a vet, I just used to manage a colony with congenital/genetic sinus issues (chronic weepy left eye, snotty noses, ear infections in the left ear). Have you considered lysine supplements for Figaro? I would mix some in with their food, around 1/8 tsp per cat per day, and saw a significant decrease in weepy eyes and sneezes.

Lysine is an awesome medicinal intervention! Good on you. I gave one of my kittys (as a kitten) when diagnosed having narrow urethra, dandelion greens everyday for three years. It stopped the inflammation and discomfort and he didn’t need it after three years. He’s just a bit more spoiled than necessary from all the extra attention. But sweet and lovely.

This video made me cry, in the best way. It can be SO easy to forget there are good humans out there and this reminds me that there really are. You do important work, Mary. I can only hope you take enough time for YOU too. Your community is so lucky to have you, as are we here on KZread.
