Follow the thin plastic line from the reservoir, on the radiator end of it theres a check valve that gets clogged up.

Everything was new even radiator…

How long did it take to change the thermostat housing.

With recording took about 4-5 hours…take your time, biggest pain is the intake

Dealer is charging me 10 hours to replace the thermostat, said they have to remove the water pump to get to it. 01/03/24 (@ $215 and hour)

Thermostat is under intake manifold and the water pump in tucked under exhaust manifold 🤨, 10 hours is a bit too much… definitely get a second opinion

Might be air trapped. Pain to bleed cooling system.

They are a paint to bleed system… crazy…

That’s normal on the temp gauge

Thanks!!! I figured it out later… but unfortunately the van overheated too much…
