2017 Mercedes Benz W205 Thermostat Removal (read description)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is not a tutorial or a how to video, I just wanted to post some of the footage I recorded for reference, It is time consuming and requires a good mental picture of all the parts and screws removed, having the right tools will make it easy, but regardless it will take time, It took me about 6 hours, I took my time. Please like or dislike the video, also check out my other mercedes videos

메르세데츠 벤츠..진짜 극악의 정비성이로군요..서모스탯 하나 교환하기 위해 저런 작업을 해야 하다니...제 차도 작업해야 하는데 큰 도움이 됩니다. 감사합니다.

It will clear on it's own, if it does not clear, a scanner will clear it
Hello, thank you for making this video it has been extremely helpful! I just wanted to ask if your able to assist in where the connectors go back into the intake manifold Thank you!

I had trouble remembering, the way I did it was to place parts back in and to see where the harness went and what connector was close to a plug, that's how I did it, but to specifically tell you, I can't. Also the connectors and plugs are different

It took me about 7 hours, because with a couple of breaks, but if I have to replace it again I say less than 3, because I know what to do

@@kgpax the check engine light came on when it failed, scanned for codes and it called for the thermostat, after replacing it, I did not reset the light, the car itself cleared the code or check engine light

@@Critycal1 cool...that's the way it should be...some cars it's a nightmare to clear codes once the issue is fixed

@@Critycal1 may i ask what was the code u had?
I just replaced my C300 2017 thermostat, but didn’t change the manifold gasket. The car won’t start and I have two error codes. P0193 and P0108 along with a few throttle valve codes. Any idea what could have I missed?
@Critycal1

There is a couple of small connectors that I also missed under intercooler, also if the gasket is good you should be OK
Hi I need to replace my coolant sensor on the same model, any ideas where this is pelase and what do I need to take apart? thanks

Not sure about the location, but I do remember seeing about 4 plugs for sensors while replacing the thermostat
Do you know where is the Coolant Temperature sensor on a 2016 GLC300 located? Thanks
