And despite not winning it in 2006 nor 2022, France is undefeated at World Cup final matches since they won 2 times and draw the other 2 matches only being eliminated by penalties. Uruguay and Spain are also undefeated at World Cup final matches, but they only played 2 and 1 respectively.

Yup, I was fond of him as a kid because I was in France during the final. Lost interest as a teenager and watched a compilation video of him as a teen and I was blown away. Utterly beautiful to watch.

Psn Gusmaano I doubt that. Brazil 2002 conceded 2 against Costa Rica and 1 against Turkey. Italy of 2006 conceded just an own goal and a penalty, that too taken by the King Zidane. A good attack wins games, but a good defense wins you titles.

@@cddb5408 Hey Wiltord had a great equalizer. You win some and you lose some. France was overall better than Italy in 2006 and had the hardest course to the final but lost on penalties. They deserved that World Cup too. So no reason to complain about Euro 2000

Ronaldo had a convulsive fit hours before the match and was unconscious in hospital. He was given the all clear at the last minute and decided to play. The team were genuinely worried about his health and didn't concentrate on the match... France won.

R9 was poisoned before the match and got a convulsive fit was sent to the hospital and ignored his doctor and went to play the game looking sickly.

@@Darkscenes-jp4ge I guess you are a bit right, but the reason is euros are just a small competition for them while World Cup is a huge competition to win and also let’s talk about Brazil 2002 team, they are very unstoppable they got Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, ronaldo and the whole team but in wc 2006 the brazil team wasn’t the same as in 2002 with more new players starting team like kaka, Adriano, and the new goalkeeper. The new players are not comparable with the previous team. You see what I mean.
