Nice! I have an '86 TT350. I've gotten it running reasonably well, although it idles a little rough. It sat for a decade or so with bad gas in it before I got it from the previous owner.

Thankyou. Cool video. I've got 94 XT like this. Same carb. Prolly just jetted differently. My little black plastic double float - the little brass bracket that ties them together & holds the needle in place in the seat - that brass bracket is buckled & my floats are not symmetrically in tandem. Dunno how it's supposed to look. Could you give me some idea please ?

Did you just dismantle the floater, needle, hoses and jets from the carb before you put it all in the Sonic Parts Cleaner? What about the diaphragm? Will rubber take damage in the sonic parts cleaner or can you just put the hole housing in the cleaner without removing more parts? It might be a stupid question, but I'm from Sweden =)

Those cheap carb rebuild kits are trash. The needle seat doesn't fit, sits too far down in the carb body and as you showed the needle itself doesn't have a rubber tip. Get they Keyster kit for an XT350. It's more expensive but the parts all fit and it comes with more parts like the emulsion tube and the jets are also correct. About the only thing you can use from the cheap kit are the gaskets, main jet and the screws.

The customer bought the kit not I. I mixed and matched plus used my parts cleaner to make it work in the end.

Sorry I would have to type them by hand. Utube does not autogenerate.
